For this reason I am selling it for parts or repair. The tuner is used and does show signs of its vintage. Please see the photos that I have taken to articulate the items condition. The unit is a tube/ valve and is (HIGH Voltage and can be deadly). This unit will need to be restored by a qualified technician. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Olson 7-Watt FM Stereo Receiver. Model RA-677. Made in Japan. Not dated, but likely 1960s. Seller note: I took the metal case off the top to expose the vacuum tubes. I plugged the receiver into an outlet. Shortly, all the tubes came to life. Further, I hooked up one speaker and a portable CD player. There was faint music, but more screeching.
