Das Naturmaterial wird in bestmöglicher Weise bearbeitet und bietet daher akustische Eigenschaften weit jenseits herkömmlicher, nur optisch ähnlicher Holz-Sockelplatten. Das Gerät besitzt den gleichen Motor mit niedrigem Drehmoment wie das Top-Modell „Kid Thomas“. Es wird in einem glänzenden Natur-Finish geliefert. Der Robin Hood wurde mit dem Cornet 1 Tonarm kombiniert. Das ist ein 1-Punkt gelagerter Arm mit einem speziellen Anti-Skating.Der Sage nach waren der verstorbene Chef und Entwickler Tom Fletcher (†) von Nottingham Analogue und Peter Mezek, der Mastermind hinter Pear Audio bestens befreundet. Die Entwicklung, zumindest der Tonarme, die wirklich genial sind, waren ein letztes Geschenk an Peter Mezek. Der Spirit der beiden Marken ist dadurch verbunden.Ich bin Erstbesitzer. Die meiste Zeit hat er aus privaten Gründen nur abgedeckt rumgestanden, wirklich gespielt, und das nur am Wochenende wenn einmal Zeit war, hat er über 3 Jahre.Im Spätherbst 2023 habe ich bei Project Akustik die Nadel unterm Mikroskop angucken und reinigen lassen (alles tip top) und die LAST Serie für den Tonabnehmer und Schallplatten zur Pflege eben dort erworben. Peter Mezek hat mir einen neuen Antriebsriemen zugeschickt, den ich nur auf Verdacht bestellt hatte, der derzeit aber gar nicht gebraucht wird. Der alte ist noch gut.Er ist in einem erstklassigen Zustand in jeglicher Hinsicht mit ca. 600 Betriebsstunden. Der Tonabnehmer ist das immer wieder hervorragend getestete Benz Micro ACE L, low output mit 0,4V. Nicht das SL !!Er kann über Cinch (Bullet Plug) oder XLR (Neutrik) angeschlossen werden. Es ist beides dabei. MCs sind per se symmetrisch.Gekauft wurde er von mir in Hamburg im Isenberg Audio Terminstudio. Rechnung, Originalverpackung ist alles vorhanden und das schwarze Sideboard auf dem er thront, gebe ich mit! Has Nottingham analogue studio tonearm fitted im not sure what the cartridge is fitted could benefit from having better one fitted. Has separate heed power supply which runs on 33.3 and 45 so no messing about with the belt. Tom Fletcher wanted a motor with the lowest possible torque, just enough to keep the platter rotating, so you have to push start the platter.
