Heavy duty 4-way volume control/switch box, probably dates from the 80s. It has built-in protection circuits, which appear to activate when using more than one pair of speakers or both amp inputs (I do not have the instructions).Tested with a Marantz receiver and JBL speakers; works great on both input amp channels and all 4 speaker pair channels. However, its a little scratchy when you switch the volume control settings, so a little tuner cleaner would not be a bad idea.
