The system is designed to with any amplifier or receiver that has a 4-8 ohm speaker output.SSVC-6 features individual volume controls for each pair of speakers, which allows you to adjust the volume of each room independently. The SSVC-6 has a master volume control that allows you to adjust the overall volume of all the speakers at once.The speaker selection feature of the SSVC-6 allows you to select which speakers are playing at any given time. You can choose to play all six pairs of speakers at once, or select individual pairs to play depending on your preferences. Heavy duty 4-way volume control/switch box, probably dates from the 80s. It has built-in protection circuits, which appear to activate when using more than one pair of speakers or both amp inputs (I do not have the instructions).Tested with a Denon receiver and Klipsch speakers; works great on both input amp channels and all 4 speaker pair channels. However, its a little scratchy when you switch the volume control settings, so a little tuner cleaner would not be a bad idea. This I leave to the buyer.This unit weighs almost 7 lbs.Cosmetically excellent, but not mint-there is a little loss of white lettering on the front and a couple of minor dings on the wooden sides.All in all, an excellent unit with plenty of life left in it.One of these has recently sold on eBay for $129.Selling AS-IS, no returns.
