I am trying to sell of this whole Nakamichi 7 Series OMS-7AII and OMS-5AII OMS-7AII : Fully Working and with remote RM-7CD : All Keys working on both Unit and Remote. OMS-5AII : For Parts unit doesnt work. it will be a good parts system as the components in OMS-7AII and OMS-5AII are same. : Laser transport works but needs calibration : Analog to Digital/AMP board works and tested : Power supply section works(Transformer) Prices :OMS-7AII : Again Rare to find a working unit which goes for 1200$ i am asking 750$ Sale is final and strictly no returns. This is a wonderful CD player but it has developed a mind of its own ! It will track some CDs perfectly while others skip and some do not even boot. The same discs work fine on an OMS-7 and other CD players in my collection so I am guessing this unit needs to be calibrated or adjusted. When it is in a mood to work it sounds fantastic. Vintage Nakamichi OMS-5Aii CD Player This is a vintage Nakamichi OMS-5Aii CD Player in very nice condition. Manufactured in Japan in the 1980s. Powers up, lights work, knobs work… however, once a CD was finishing being “read” after loading, the tray opened. So, I was not able to test playback. I am not entirely sure what the problem is, but I assume something with the laser? Maybe it just needs a good cleaning… but that is not something I want to attempt. So, please bear this in mind when bidding. Could probably use a little dusting/cleaning/polishing, as everyone’s idea of clean varies. But, this is a nice vintage unit. Look at the pictures to get a good idea of this machines condition and function. --- Rotel Amplifier in photos NOT included --- This will be shipped ONLY via FEDEX or UPS due to how fragile it is.
