Alas, I must part with my beloved Nakamichi OMS-3A CD player. It no longer recognizes a CD. The tray opens and closes, then you get some whirring inside, but then the tray opens again because the unit doesnt realize that there is a CD in the tray. In fact, it does this whether there is a CD in the tray or not. So if you can repair it, this is a great deal. Its in the original box (although Ill ship it inside a bigger box) and includes the remote and the manual. Theres no way for me to test the remote but it did work back in the day. I bought this unit on Aug 30, 1986 for $743! Major dollars in 1986. In 1991, it had a problem and I sent it to Nakamichi - they replaced the loading belt, whatever that is - and charged me $78 at that time. Maybe thats what is wrong now, I have no idea. Anyway, I hope you can get it to work. I always thought it was a very solid unit.
