This is the first model of the British Naim Audio integrated amplifier, featuring a simple design and compact size with a built-in phono equalizer (MM). It is surrounded by an aluminum plate approximately 0.16 inches thick, embodying a minimalist approach without unnecessary functions or circuits. The manufacturer focuses purely on sound quality, lacking a speaker protection circuit. Recently, a respect model called NATE50 was released with the same design, and while its internals have been upgraded, the essence remains. The compact dimensions are as follows: height 11 inches, width 8.2 inches, and depth 3.1 inches. Serial number: 30951, operating at 100V. Note that the power indicator lamp is slightly recessed due to being pushed in, likely due to a child. It is believed that removing the screws from the rear insulator will allow access to push it back into place. The amplifier powers on correctly and produces sound without issues, although the rubber part of the rear insulator has aged. As of today (12/12), it has been tested with Rogers speakers and is in full working condition. The next owner is encouraged to take good care of it. This is a large 3-pice knob from a Naim Olive component (e.g. NAC62, NAC72, NAIT 2, NAP140, HiCap, etc.). This came in a box of spare parts I bought a while ago. These knobs consist of 3 main pieces, the domed cap, the rubber ring, and the back. It is common for the back part to break from over-tightening the grub screw. I created a new back part in CAD that I 3D printed. This back part is much tougher than the original part and uses a standard M3 screw and nut. Note that there are two versions of this olive knob, one designed for a friction fit on a flatted shaft, and one designed to clamp on to a round shaft with a screw. This design should work as a replacement for either version. Condition wise it is good but note that one edge has been smoothed/polished (as opposed to the original matte texture).

Naim audio Nait 3 Integrated Amplifier with Remote SN 143400. Owned Since New. I bought this unit from new as a music lover from Audio Councel (Naim specialist) to complement NACD CD player SN 141086 also listed. Plus the addition of Naim Audio Flatcap power supply SN 148018 also listed and loads of other obsessed purchases from Naim via AW. All are 3 pin UK plugs and I am releasing them at a fraction of what was paid for them new and in line with thorough research before listing. These are collectable, mint condition, well looked after and for the right buyer, a great deal. I simply no longer have the space and following life changing events wish for them to go to a good home. They are fantastic pieces of kit, Naim became an obsession in a great way and with the ability to play the music as it was recorded brought years of listening pleasure. To be clear, do not buy these if you are just looking for a stereo to play in the background. Buy them if you really love listening to music. I had a turntable as well but sadly that has gone. Its collectable, an example of real engineering when couple with good speakers, cables etc make the listening experience a healthy obsession/hobby for real music fans. The inputs are via DIN, there is space to retro fit a phono stage (input 1) but this is not fitted. The speaker outputs are via Banana plug and comes with a UK mains lead. The power is rated at 30 watts per channel but seems so much more. I have taken some pictures under the case and as you can see its immaculate throughout; no obvious issues with capacitors or any of the components, no swelling or leakage. I have reverted back to my Nait 2 hence the reason for sale, a superb example all ready to enjoy. Please see the images as they form part of the description.
