Removing the cascode means less amplifier stabilisation is required: that doubles the slew rate and delivers another uplift in sound quality. The phono circuit topology comprises 3 stages: the gain stage, passive equalisation and final gain and active equalisation. NAIM NAIT 1 Serviced Feb 2021. Great example of a legendary Amp. As you will see, it was fully serviced in Feb 21 by Naim & also the red light version. Details on the last photo of the job sheet. The facia is in perfect order with no scratches or dings to the chrome bumper! All the knobs and controls are like new. The case shows little signs of age, slight fading in colour to the top, but the photos make it look much worse than it really is! There are a few tiny white speckles as well, probably paint, but I didnt want to go scratching at it. TBH Id never noticed. Would prefer collection so I can demo it working.
