Nad 3020e (Serviced). Fully recapped. Calibrated and all cleaned up unit. Controls and switches cleaned. Unit works and sounds spot on. They caps are fairly generic so dont expect nichicon or elna etc. Still better than the aged capacitors in the unit some were not testing great either. Really enjoyable little 20 watt amplifier. Ive cleaned the front panel and there are some small nicks from age. The top lid is not the correct colour but a sea grey colour but thought be refreshing change than just painting it black. It beats the scratches it had on it which really spoilt the rest. Next owner can repaint if needed to colour of their desire. Please no silly offers. This is a cleaned up and serviced unit not something yanked from an attic. Cleaned with a rag. Tested for 5 mins and put on sale.

amplificatore hi fi usato NAD 3020e con laggiunta di ingresso cuffia e phono, perfettamente funzionante.

This is a very good example of the NAD 3020e. Ive serviced it by replacing the ageing Taiwanese electrolytic capacitors with good quality Japanese capacitors; for the main unregulated power supply filter caps I used Nichicon KG series and for the in-audio path capacitors I used Nichicon FG series. The controls and switches have been cleaned with Servisol. All other components are stock as there were no examples of noisy transistors or resistors. The amp sounds dynamic and musically highly engaging; I was tempted to keep it for my main system and the only reason Im selling is because (1) I have a Mission Cyrus 1, which I restored a few years ago and which is hands down the best amplifier I have ever heard (and Ive heard just about every British amp, Including the way over-hyped Naim amps) and (2) Ive got my eye on a Quad 405-2 which Id like to restore (restoring older hi-fi components is one of my hobbies) and Ive just got too many amplifiers which Ive restored/serviced. There is a little transformer hum, which is only audible when listening close to the amplifier and not audible at all when music is playing.

NAD 3020e Integrated amplifier. Vinyl ready. Fully Restored & Serviced / recapped. VGC. This amplifier looks good and sounds great. Front panel is very good and casing also very good condition with a few marks here and there -- see photos. Input connectors are 24K Gold plated. All potentiometers (Volume, tone etc) serviced, lubricated & work with no crackles. ALL of the Electrolytic capacitors have been replaced including larger Power supply Filter capacitors. It is imperative that these are all changed. Old Electrolytic capacitors of 40 years+ are EOL and will fail. DC offset and O/P Transistors bias have been correctly set. Original Motorola MJ2055/ 2N3055 output transistors remounted on new Silicon thermal transfer pads, replacing old dried mica insulator/ thermal compound. All solder joints checked. Circuit board fully cleaned - see pics This amplifier has a truly stunning sound quality guaranteed to impress. The 3020e version is the penultimate iteration of the original 3020 design in a low profile case. All of the later designs of the 3020 were design improvements on the original.
