I was a licensed audio/video bench tech for over 20 years (now retired). I have an arrangement with a couple of electronic recycling companies to cherry pick items that I know how to fix easily. This piece has new capacitors in the amplifier section (ones that typically fail due to heat). The low voltage supply also has new filters for good measure. Ive scoped the channels for high freq. oscillation and excessive ripple (none found). The output DC offset meets spec and the DC bias was adjusted to factory settings. I ran an 8 hour listen test attached to my Martin Logan electro-static speakers with no problems. Cosmetics: there is some slight paint loss along the top front edge due to poor handling by the salvage company.
