This time up for auction is a McIntosh MX121 for parts or repair.  Following is what had happened:I have ordered and replaced the broken front glass a few months ago.It was working OK before I replaced the front glass.BUT after replacing the front glass, the front display did not work. However, the monitor through the HDMI out connection works – as shown in the pictures. All buttons and switches on the front penal work as they should.Based on information from McIntosh - “The FIRMWARE has been erased/corrupted because I have touched the “Reset” and/or the “program” switches on the video PBC when replacing the glass. (email from McIntosh will be provided upon request.)I have obtained a copy of the MX121 FIRMWARE (zip) and have tried to update the FIRMWARE but without success. (Copy of the FIRMWARE and instructions will be provided to the new owner upon request.) In trying to update the FIRMWARE I dropped the unit and broke the front glass again. I have decided to sell this unit – for parts or repair - to someone who may know how to fix it or keep it for parts.
