The Gold Trim model has the NuVista binding posts and is well known as one of the best in this class. The built in Phono Stage is very good and easily bests other Phono Stages. Remote is included. Considered to be the best power amplifier they ever made in terms of sound quality, with a fairly beefy output at 250 watts (8 ohm) per channel. Unfortunately, it seems the amplifier is not a good match with my equipment or was damaged during shipping as there is an apparent hum/buzzing when powered up. This has been extensively upgraded and updated with top of the line parts without any compromise from the original design. All capacitors have been replaced and wiring has been upgraded amongst others as listed:• Kemet ALS10S Slit Foil PSU capacitors 10,000uF 80v which are all bypassed with TDK foil capacitors 0.1uF 400VDC.
