This is a great headphone amplifier/preamplifier from Schiit Audio. Schiit Audio sells only direct so are able to sell for about half of what you would play through a dealer. Mjolnir is their top of the line headphone amp and sells for $1,200. so it would cost twice that if they sold through a 3rd party dealer. When I bought this is I got the LISST solid state tube replacement modules so you have the choice of hybrid tube + solid state or all solid state. It sounds great either way. This has become a cult item and sought after as the tube version is no longer made. If you ever need service you can send to Schiit. Included are a pair matched and balanced Gold Lion tubes.

For sale is one Mjolnir Audio KGSS HV amplifier for electrostatic headphones. I bought it used last year but now decided to let go of my electrostatic setup. The amplifier is fully functional, but please note that I do not have a spare power cord to include with. If you are interested in this particular amplifier, you likely know about it already. However, I would still mention KGSS HV is sensitive to noise in the powerline. As I found out myself that at my place, a humming noise is noticeable until the amplifier is warmed up over 20-40 minutes, and some power conditioning equipment is required. The previous owner has stated that was his experience as well. The edge of the casing/heatsink fins has some dents, which likely occurred during shipping (due to inadequate packaging) from previous owner. Please refer to the photos. I have owned a lot of Schiit gear over the years (even an original Mjolnir and Asgard). This amp is extremely overbuilt. The choke input power supply is crazy good. The little vibration from the choke is pretty cool. It runs hot but only really on the heatsink. The rest stays fairly cool. Highly configurable sound with feedback, SE/PP, and gain switching. Has only been used in my bedroom system. Outstanding condition (see photos for closeups). Comes with original box. No power cable. They make these in small batches throughout the year.
