Bought new on release in 2023. First batch. Original owner. Absolutely fantastic amplifier. Works great with my Senn HD650 and Meze Empyreans. Very clear and powerful sound. I have owned a lot of Schiit gear over the years (even an original Mjolnir and Asgard). This amp is extremely overbuilt. The choke input power supply is crazy good. The little vibration from the choke is pretty cool. It runs hot but only really on the heatsink. The rest stays fairly cool. Highly configurable sound with feedback, SE/PP, and gain switching. Has only been used in my bedroom system. Outstanding condition (see photos for closeups). Comes with original box. No power cable. They make these in small batches throughout the year. Hi all, up for sale is a Mjolnir Audio KGSSHV Mini amp for electrostatic headphones, your regular KGSSHV housed in a compact chassis. Drives everything Ive thrown at it wonderfully, rock solid build and super versatile piece of kit given its size, perfect for desktop use. Discontinued by spritzer to streamline his offerings, I daresay theres nothing better at this form factor. Internal voltage select currently set to 120V but can be adjusted for the buyer as needed prior to shipping. Old blurb from spritzer:I have the mini KGSSHV’s in stock now. This is a new version with a redesigned power supply. The basic topology is the same but with a new layout for better thermal performance and more capacitance to improve performance. Silver front panels on these and with an orange power LED. Standard mini specs so they run at +/-400V and the current through the output stage is set at 10mA so it runs pretty warm. It uses the 2SA1968 current sources which gives a more stable circuit with a slightly sweeter tone. Also available now is the KGSSHV mini in black. Uses my signature orange power led which looks stunning on the black front panel. Otherwise these are identical to the silver units. The Schiit Mjolnir 2 headphone amplifier, a fully balanced hybrid tube amplifier that was once Schiits flagship headphone amp. I can confirm its very beefy :) The Mjolnir 2 uses the Schiits balanced and differential Crossfet topology. Schiit says that this amp is the only circlotron-style topology in a headphone amplifier on the market. It has balanced in and balanced out and a custom 4-gang RK27 Alps volume pot keeping the signals separate all the way through. The amp has excellent macrodynamics (aka slam) and a very pleasant, slightly warmish but detailed top end. Tons of power for any headphone. Selling a Mjölnir / Mjolnir Audio KGSSHV Mini Electrostatic Amp | For Parts/Repair | Blown Channel. Serial #48. 117VAC. Handmade in Iceland. Bought directly from Spritzer on his website. Original owner. The damage was caused by user error. The right channel was overbiased and subsequently blew a few components on the right circuit board and took out a driver on Stax headphones. The extent of damage is beyond my capabilities to repair and I dont have the time to repair it. This amplifier / energizer was used a lot. Ive unplugged everything at the front panel. The left channel was still functioning at the time of failure. The amp fuses never blew either. Notice the Stax headphone jack is removed because of overuse. It was falling apart. Screw holes for the headphones jack and power button need to be re-tapped / re-threaded as there is damage. Theres a missing screw for the power button chassis. The amplifier case itself has a handful of cosmetic scrapes. See the photos. There were small tweaks made to the amplifier, such as duct seal compound (removed) to steady the large PSU caps, soldered crimp connections at the power plug because they kept loosening, and a green LED. There are plenty of exotic electronic parts in this amplifier, such as a Keen Ocean toroidal transformer, an Alpha 4 Gang potentiometer, high voltage PSU capacitors, 2SC4686A transistors, 2SA1968 transistors, and more. Im not an electrical engineer so I cannot answer specifics about the design.

This has been one amazing amp and Ive thoroughly enjoyed it. Powerful enough for any headphone and a great pre amp. It also comes with a few extra tubes and a power cable.
