The sound is very solid, and the compact and simple design is popular. This is a record player that allows you to enjoy your audio life with ease. Condition Each part has been polished/cleaned. The dust cover is polished with a special abrasive depending on the level of scratches, and the finish is polished to enhance transparency. The arm, platter, and metal parts are polished to remove dirt and rust as much as possible. - The cover has minor scratches/scuffs, but ?there are no major scratches and it is transparent and clean. - There are no noticeable scratches on the buttons or platter. - The rubber mat is also soft with no deterioration or warping. - Overall glossy and in good condition. - All four insulators are functioning, and ?the hinges will stay open without any wear. - Both the arm and shell are glossy and clean. ?There is some sagging of the weight axis, but it ?does not interfere with current use. Overall, it is in beautiful condition. Considering its age, we judge it to be in good condition. It is a used item that has been around for a long time. Micro Seiki DD-5 Direct Drive Audiophile Home Listening Turntable - 100VThe DD-5 is a really lovely listening turntable from 1975. Micro Seiki originally made surgical instruments and miniature mechanisms. They then started to produce exquisite and sought-after turntables in the 60s and 70s. This is a really nice piece and would be suited to someone who wants to listen to their new or old favourite records at home. Condition: This is a used unit. Physically the unit itself is in great condition for its age showing some small signs of wear like some marks, nicks and scratches. There is no major damage, and nothing which detracts from the use or functions of the DD-5. Overall it is in nice condition and would make a great centre piece for your collection. Please see photos. This unit will ship with its original dust cover. This cover has also been used. It shows some general wear, like some scuffs, scratches and marks. There is one small crack at the back near one of the hinges. It is still perfect to protect the tonearm during shipping, and for keeping the dust off the turntable while it is not in use.
