I am selling the legendary Direct Drive type turntable, the Micro Seiki DD8, made in Japan, from my personal collection. I purchased this turntable a few years ago from Japan and have been enjoying its performance ever since. The device is very solidly built with an excellent motor. The spindle is straight, and the platter spins stably without any vibrations (see the video). The turntable operates at two speeds – 33 1/3 and 45 RPM. This product combines a heavy-duty turntable with a quartz lock, a sturdy base, and a dynamic tone arm MA-505. At 45 rpm, the rotation speed seems to be slightly low, and the standby lamp that goes off when the set speed is reached does not go out, but at 33 rpm there is no problem, and I can play LPs normally with the cartridge I have. The arm it is equipped with is the MA-505, which is dynamically balanced and sold separately, and there are no problems with its operation, including the stylus pressure adjustment, inside force canceller, and oil lifter. ?
