I am listing some McIntosh components I sold to a good customer when I was in A/V sales in the 80s. He passed away recently and I am selling them as a courtesy to the family. The MQ 104 was designed specifically for McIntosh speakers to enhance the bass response down to 20 Hz. It was sold together in this sysyem with a pair of McIntosh XR 6 speakers. It should not be used with other speakers The capacitor kit that was supplied with it is not available. See my other listing for the speakers.When I photographed other components in the system, I didnt realize the MQ 104 was in the cabinet. I discovered it when I looked at a photo of the turntable, behind some CDs. There is just a corner visible, but full specs and photos are available online atmcintoshcompendium dot com.
