Technics RS-B57R auto-reverse cassette deck with Dolby B & C noise reduction as well as DBX noise reduction. I replaced the belts in this deck within the past 10 years. While it does function, the wow and flutter is noticeably high. Im not sure if this is due to the belts that I put in it (likely from turntableneedles.com - which usually give me no problems) or if its due to the pinch rollers needing to be replaced. It feels like the rollers still have some grip left, but that doesnt mean theyre not starting to form tiny cracks in the rubber. I just dont have a need to keep it nor the time to devote to fixing the issue. Aside from the high wow and flutter the deck sounds fine and seems to function as it should. Works great! Plays forward and in reverse. Audio output it amazing. It contains microprocessor that can be programmed to search for tunes in desired sequence and play them. Almost like old CD players did in these days. But the RS-B78R can do it on both sides of the tape, looking for the tunes on the A side, and when finished for another on the B side. It’s able to record from vinyl onto a cassette with noise reduction. Please refer to pictures for condition. If you have any questions, please reach out!
