It functions perfectly with clean sound and no problems, a lot of features, a lot of versatility, many inputs, many outputs. Variable loudness control and a five band dial operated eq, HR37 McIntosh remote control included. This is coming out of my working living room system as can be seen in the last picture of this ad.All the function red lights work as they should but some of the lights for the back lit McIntosh logo need replacing. Multiple transistors were replaced as well as lamps and other parts to return the unit to factory spec and performance. This unit sounds as good as new and will for many years to come! This is one of the few McIntosh preamplifiers to offer balanced XLR audio outputs. This puts the finishing touch on this unit being a fantastic piece of high-end, vintage HiFi gear.
