DESCRIPTIONVintage McIntosh preamp C-24 selling As Is, in good working condition. This was McIntoshs first solid state preamp, made from 1964-1970. This has been serviced only by McIntosh, ALWAYS, and is not a rats nest of unqualified repairs under the hood. This amp was in my system less than a year ago, but I now have a preamp that is my forever unit, so time to get rid of some of the accumulated equipment that I will likely not use again.Face is in great condition. Front and chrome edges and metal parts of face in really nice vintage condition - this preamp has led a sheltered life. I am not implying this piece is in MINT or LIKE NEW condition. All I can do is state what has been done to this, and how you can expect this amp to preform from what has been done. This is after all, about 50 years old.
