Mark Levinson ?5206 Dual-Monaural PreamplifierOpen-box unit. Mint condition. Tested and working 100%.With Pure Path fully discrete, direct-coupled, dual-monaural line-level class A preamp circuitry, MM/MC phono stage, and Main Drive headphone output. Evolution Derived from the same Pure Path design philosophy as the distinguished Mark Levinson 500 Series products, the ? 5206 preamplifier was created to deliver all the performance and quality expected from Mark Levinson with new affordability and exceptional value. Architecture The foundation of the ? 5206 is its fully discrete, direct-coupled, dual-monaural line-level preamp circuitry, for which the Shelton design team has been awarded two patents. A unique single gain stage mated to a digitally controlled resistor network for volume adjustment maintains maximum signal integrity and widest possible bandwidth. Each of its four stereo line-level inputs—two balanced XLR and two single-ended, using custom Mark Levinson RCA connectors—has its own individual high-reliability signal switching relays. Like the ? 500 series components, the Main Drive headphone output employs a preamp output stage specifically designed with the current and power capacity to drive headphones directly, without a separate headphone amp. A newly designed phono stage features a hybrid gain topology, mating key discrete components from the acclaimed 500 Series Pure Phono stage with low-noise pre circuits for high performance at a lower cost. Also, like the 500 Series, a hybrid active/passive RIAA equalizer employs precision resistors and polypropylene capacitors for exceptional accuracy and sonic clarity. The user can select MM/MC gain and optional infrasonic filter from the setup menu, while capacitive and resistive loading settings are easily accessed from the rear panel. Variable line-level RCA outputs allow system expansion and flexibility. Digital Audio The ? 5206 delivers outstanding digital audio capability through the Mark Levinson Precision Link II™ DAC. The class-leading ESS Sabre Pro series 32-bit D/A converter with jitter elimination circuitry and a fully balanced, discrete current-to-voltage converter form the heart of the digital audio processing stage. Six digital audio inputs are provided: One AES, two coaxial and two optical S/PDIF, and one asynchronous USB for playback of high-resolution PCM (up to 32 bit/384kHz) and DSD (up to 11.2MHz) files. The ? 5206 includes MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology, which enables playback of MQA audio files and streams. A Bluetooth receiver equipped with aptX-HD enables the high-quality Bluetooth playback. Control System integration and communication ports include Ethernet, USB, RS-232, IR input, and 12V trigger input and output. A newly designed, solid aluminum IR remote is included with the ? 5206. Finally, an internal webpage allows setup, import and export of configurations, and software updates using a PC and standard web browser. Industrial Design Robust materials, lavish finishes, and bold geometry are hallmark attributes of Mark Levinson designs. The one-inch-thick, bead-blasted, black-anodized, solid aluminum front panels are machined and contoured to flow seamlessly into the sleek glass display, which itself is recessed into a bead-blasted, clear-anodized aluminum bezel. The iconic hourglass knobs redefined with a gently curved profile softly transitioning into a rounded front. With meticulous details, including, debossed top cover vents, screen-printed logo and legends behind the glass panel, and custom machined aluminum Standby and Menu buttons, and matching feet, the ? 5206 exudes elegance and style. The ? 5206 is proudly designed, engineered, and precision-crafted in the USA.?5206 HighlightsPure Path Class A DesignMain Drive Class A Headphone OutHome Theater Processor Pass-Thru ModeClass A High Pass Subwoofer FilterMQA Full Decode CertifiedBluetooth Audio Input Including Aptx-HD SupportMark Levinson 5Kontrol APPPrecision Crafted In The USAWhats in the box?Power CordOwners ManualCustom Aluminum Remote ControlSpecifications:ANALOG LINE STAGEGain: 8dB maximum, single-ended outputs, 14dB maximum, balanced outputsOutput Overload: >7.5V RMS, single-ended outputs, >15V RMS, balanced outputsFrequency Response: 20Hz to 20kHz, ±0.03dB,Total Harmonic Distortion: <0.003%, 20Hz to 20kHz, [At unity gain volume setting, 2V RMS single-ended/4V RMS balanced out]Signal-To-Noise Ratio: >93dB, 20Hz to 20kHz, wideband, unweighted [At unity gain volume setting, referred to 2V RMS single-ended/4V RMS balanced out]System Gain: Selectable; 80Hz, 2nd order (12dB/octave)PHONO STAGERIAA Frequency Response: 20Hz to 20kHz, ±0.3dBInfrasonic Filter: Selectable; 20Hz, 1st order, (6dB/octave)MOVING-MAGNET MODEInput Resistance: 47k?Input Capacitance: Selectable; 20, 70, 120, or 170pFGain: 39dB at 1kHzTotal Harmonic Distortion: <0.01%, 1kHz, 2V RMS output, <0.05%, 20Hz to 20kHz, 2V RMS outputSignal-To-Noise Ratio: >80dB, 20Hz to 20kHz, wideband, unweighted, referred to 2V RMS outputMaximum Input Level: >190mV at 1kHz, >1.6V at 20kHzMOVING-COIL MODEInput Resistance: Selectable; 37? to 1000?Gain: 69dB at 1kHzTotal Harmonic Distortion: <0.01%, 1kHz, 2V RMS output, <0.05%, 20Hz to 20kHz, 2V RMS outputSignal-To-Noise Ratio: >68dB, 20Hz to 20kHz, wideband, unweighted, referred to 2V RMS outputMaximum Input Level: >6.5mV at 1kHz, >19mV at 20kHzDIGITAL-TO-ANALOG CONVERTER STAGEOutput Voltage: 5.6V RMS at 0dBFS, maximum volume, single-ended outputs, 11.2V RMS at 0dBFS, maximum volume, balanced outputsFrequency Response: 20Hz to 20kHz, +0/–0.05dB [with 44.1kHz/16 bit signal], 20Hz to 20kHz, +0/–0.02dB [with 192kHz/24 bit signal]Total Harmonic Distortion: <0.0025%, 20Hz to 20kHz, 3V RMS single-ended output [with 44.1kHz/16 bit signal], <0.002%, 20Hz to 20kHz, 6V RMS balanced output [with 44.1kHz/16 bit signal], <0.002%, 20Hz to 20kHz, 3V RMS single-ended output [with 192kHz/24 bit signal], <0.0017%, 20Hz to 20kHz, 6V RMS balanced output [with 192kHz/24 bit signal], <0.004%, 90kHz, 3V RMS single-ended output [with 192kHz/24 bit signal], <0.003%, 90kHz, 6V RMS balancedSignal-To-Noise Ratio: >92dB, 20Hz to 20kHz, wideband, unweighted, with 44.1kHz/16 bit signal [referred to 3V RMS single-ended or 6V RMS balanced output], >98dB, 20Hz to 20kHz, wideband, unweighted, with 192kHz/24 bit signal [referred to 3V RMS single-ended or 6V RMS balanced output]Sample Rates/Bit Depth: PCM: 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, 192, 352.8, or 384kHz; up to 32 bitsDSD: Native or DoP; single, double, or quad speed (2.8, 5.6, or 11.2MHz)HEADPHONE OUTPUTTotal harmonic distortion: <0.04%, 20Hz and 1kHz, 2V RMS output, 30? load, <0.1%, 20kHz, 2V RMS output, 30? loadOutput overload: >3.3V RMS, 30? loadSignal-to-noise ratio: >88dB, 20Hz to 20kHz, wideband, unweighted, referred to 2V RMS outputGENERALAnalog input connectors2 pairs balanced line-level inputs (XLR)2 pairs single-ended line-level inputs (RCA)1 pair single-ended moving-coil phono inputs (RCA)1 pair single-ended moving-magnet phono inputs (RCA)Digital audio connectors (?5206 only)2 coaxial S/PDIF inputs (RCA)2 optical S/PDIF inputs (Toslink)1 balanced AES/EBU input (XLR)1 asynchronous USB input (USB-B)Output connectors:1 pair single-ended line-level outputs (RCA)1 pair balanced line-level outputs (XLR)Control connectors:1 RS-232 port (DB-9)1 Ethernet port (RJ-45)1 USB port for firmware updates (USB-A)1 baseband IR input (?/3.5mm phone jack)1 programmable 12V DC trigger output, 100mA maximum (?/3.5mm phone jack)1 programmable 12V DC trigger input (?/3.5mm phone jack)Power consumption:Power on: 70WPower on (headphones connected): 85WNormal standby: 65WPower Save standby: 4WGreen standby: <0.4WDimensions/Weight Unit only:Height: 4.96/126mmHeight without feet: 4.50/114mmWidth: 17.25/438mmDepth, enclosure only: 18.00/457mmDepth, with knobs and rear connectors: 19.25/489mmWeight: 34 lbs/15.4kgWith packaging:Height: 13.63/346mmWidth: 24.25/616mmDepth: 29.00/737mmWeight: 48 lbs/21.7kg Check out all my items on the audiolab-outletBe sure to add me to your favorites list! Available in this auction is a gorgeous Mark Levinson NO. 26 Dual Monaural Preamplifier with the optional balanced input module. You either already have, or will need to obtain, the outboard power supply PLS-226 (not included). These are available on eBay and elsewhere. This NO. 26 will include the power supply interconnect cable pictured in the image gallery. This is classic Mark Levinson, built like a battleship. I have the original OEM shipping materials (dense foam) and box (shown in images). I also have the OPERATING MANUAL AND COMPLETE SERVICE MANUAL courtesy of Madrigal Audio Laboratories. In order to answer some of your questions, concerns, and requests, I have added a video to the image gallery demonstrating the NO.26 operating in a temporary setup connected to a H.H.Scott 222c and it is sounding as sweet as ever and functioning perfectly. (Things are more organized than they may appear ????). Some details from a Stereophile review by John Atkinson: The No.26 is the first Mark Levinson preamplifier to be designed by Madrigal Audio Laboratories. Only the third wholly new component to come from ML since the company was taken over by Madrigal, the No.26 was launched at the 1988 WCES and consists of a neat, black-finished preamplifier chassis with a remote power supply, connected via a lead with 9-pin connectors on each end. The power supply must be placed away from the preamp chassis, or, if it must be next to it, to its right, away from the phono circuitry. The preamp chassis has a sculptured, black anodized, 3/8-thick front panel, with the labeling inset in white in traditional Mark Levinson style. Milled circular counterbores recess all the knobs. The main controls, level and input select, utilize the regular ML-style flanged knobs and occupy the center of the faceplate. To their left and right are triads of smaller knobs, to control the subsidiary functions. On the left are the two tape-loop controls, one switching between tape loop 1 and tape loop 2, the monitor switch also offering a third defeat position where the tape loops are completely out of circuit. An even smaller switch offers the choice between inversion and non-inversion of absolute signal polarity. The soundstage controls are to the right, the stereo/mono switch and balance controls, the individual level-adjust controls for each channel offering a maximum swing of ±5dB in detented 1dB steps. On the rear panel, all inputs and outputs are implemented with unbalanced Camac sockets with gold-plated contacts. Though totally incompatible with conventional jacks, these give a locking, gas-tight connection with the ground made first. (If only Camacs, developed by the European nuclear industry for instrumentation purposes, had been adopted as the industry standard rather than the clunky RCA system!) The main disadvantage is the need to use adaptors if the No.26 is to be used with source components having RCA output sockets—as nearly all do. Madrigal supplies both female and male Camac-to-phono adaptors, the latter seeming more mechanically robust. In practice, one would expect the dealer to fit Camacs to at least the customers turntable leads. In addition, the No.26 provides gold-plated three-pin Neutrik XLR sockets both to deliver balanced outputs for each channel and to offer the option of a balanced input. This, Madrigal feels, is a superior method of implementing a true balanced connection to using two pairs of unbalanced RCA connections, one inverting, one non-inverting. It enables the optimum cable to be used for balanced operation, this consisting of an intimately twisted pair to give the maximum common-mode noise rejection. Balanced input? The No.26 offers perhaps the widest range of input options Ive seen. The appropriate position of the input-selector switch is labeled PHONO/AUX 2. In its most basic form, the No.26 lacks any disc circuitry, this pair of Camacs offering a sixth line-level input. An increase in price of $660 gets the customer a conventional, unbalanced-input, moving-magnet module, the gain switchable between 38dB or 44dB; an extra $760 over the basic price gets an unbalanced MC module, the gain again being switchable but now between 58dB or 64dB. To come in the future will be first a balanced line-level input module, to be used with such CD players as the Accuphases and Denons that have balanced outputs or with professional tape recorders, using the XLR sockets already installed. After that, an outboard phono preamp will become available. Input impedance for the line-level inputs is 14k ohms in parallel with 220pF. Output impedance is not stated, but the load impedance should be 600 ohms or greater. Maximum output voltage is 6V, unbalanced. The No.26 should have no problems driving long cables. The tape outputs, however, should see at least 10k. How about the circuitry? Taking the fundamentals first, as with the Krell KRS2, another no-compromise preamplifier, there is no on/off switch, the No.26 being intended to be left on all the time. The PLS-226 power supply incorporates AC RF filtration and spike suppression and delivers two pairs of rectified and smoothed ±27V rails; these are then regulated to deliver completely separate ±17V supplies to each channel of the phono- and line-level circuits. The umbilical also supplies a completely separate supply to drive the signal-switching relays. Conventionally, either the input signals are taken via long pcb traces or ribbon cable to a preamps front-panel input selector, or the switches have long extenders between the knob and the switch body, which is positioned at the rear, near the input sockets. The Madrigal design team felt that even the latter compromises the integrity of the signal; instead, they chose to use high-quality, hermetically sealed relays, using bifurcated, gold-plated silver contacts. The front-panel switches control just the DC relay-operating voltages. As well as allowing a switching topology to be used which minimizes the number of contacts in the signal path (there being only two contacts between any source and the main outputs and only one between any source and either of the tape outputs), the relays can be placed adjacent to the input sockets on the rear panel, minimizing the crosstalk between inputs. These relays are said to have a lifetime in excess of 10 million operations and are also used to implement the phase-inversion and tape-monitor switching. The only front-panel controls that operate directly on the signal are, in fact, the balance and mono/stereo switches, and the volume control. The latter is a silky-feeling Penny & Giles conductive-plastic component, with interchannel tracking specced at better than 0.5dB, even at maximum attenuation. (Ben Duncan, having investigated the possibility of using a similar pot in his passive preamp design, (footnote 3) informs me that this is a _very_ expensive component.) The gain of the line-level stage can also be set internally via DIP switches at 6, 12, or 18dB via the unbalanced Camac outputs. (The balanced XLRs offer an additional 6dB gain due to the fact that twice the peak voltage exists between the hot and cold signal lines as exists between either one and ground.) Taken in conjunction with the adjustable gain of the phono stage and the range of the balance controls, the No.26s gain structure can be configured to give the best balance between sensitivity and noise for any source and loudspeaker. Nearly all the circuitry is carried on one large double-sided pcb occupying the entire internal area, the exceptions being: the output switching plus the absolute-phase inversion switching, both contained on a shallow double-sided pcb running the length of the back panel; and the phono circuitry, carried on an approximately 9 x 4.5 double-sided pcb piggybacked over the mother pcbs left-hand side, and connected to it by soldered connections using flat, insulated, solid-core ribbon conductors. Factory-set to an input impedance of 1nF in parallel with 825 ohms (MC), or 47k in parallel with 100pF (MM), the phono boards carry DIP switches offering 30, 100, 825, and 10k options (MC), or 825, 10k, 22k, and 47k options (MM), in addition to a user-defined setting in which resistors and capacitors can be plugged into gold-plated circuit-board jacks. A quick check of the RIAA EQ revealed any error to be below that of my inverse-RIAA network. This phono amp is _flat_! The response also extends well into the infrasonic region, implying that any turntable/arm/cartridge to be used with the No.26 will have to be of at least Linn standard, if very-low-frequency problems are not to be faithfully passed on to the power amp and speakers. Those familiar with earlier Mark Levinson electronics, where elaborate heatsinking was used on the various modules to ensure that the transistors accurately tracked one another thermally, will find the No.26s interior a surprise. The circuits have been designed not to need the mechanical thermal coupling previously used, resulting in a cleaner-looking layout. Despite the pcb commonality, construction is totally dual-mono, the regulated power supplies being separate for each channel, the board layout also keeping the channels separate—LH channel to the front, RH to the rear. High-quality parts are used throughout: Roderstein, WIMA, and RIFA polypropylene-dielectric capacitors; close-tolerance, metal-film resistors; and all transistors and end-mounted resistors and diodes are supported by plastic cradles. Add in a labor-intensive quality-control procedure, where every stuffed pcb is checked visually before even being powered up, and the No.26s performance should remain consistent over many years of service.

*************** This item is being relisted as the high bidder flaked out... Please, only bid if you intend to follow through with the sale! ***************** Posting this piece of gear for a friend. There will be more high-end audio items to follow... You are bidding on an excellent original condition example of the Mark Levinson ML-1 Stereo Preamplifier, with the rare optional moving coil phono module. Also included is the PLS-150 external power supply. I believe this is a second owner piece. It has been with the current owner since the early 1980s. I spent time listening to it in those days, so I can verify that fact. They moved on to other gear, and this unit has been stored for some time. I had it powered up for at least a week, listening to it periodically to verify operation, and heard no issues. There are a couple of switches that could use a bit of a clean. NOTE: It appears that Phono 2 was wired directly to the input of the MC phono module. This was done in the 1980s or earlier. Probably done to reduce signal path, and avoid the phono selector switch. Not sure if this was a factory or user mod. Could be reversed easily if desired. Workmanship quality is good. Just an FYI. Also included is a selection of interconnect cables that have had RCA connectors added to one end, so you can connect all of your current gear to the ML-1 without having to worry about adapters. There is also a short handmade RCA-Camac adapter as well. - (2 pair) 6 foot Camac to RCA, Mark Levinson Audio Systems LTD. What is included:Proceed AVP Preamplifier/Processor and Power Cable. No remote included. Condition:Perfect functional condition. All functions tested and working as they should - it was my main preamplifier until I upgraded to AVP2 right before this listing was created. Excellent (used) cosmetic condition, very nice front panel. The top case has some minor scratches from stacked components - shown in the pictures. S/N: 3403. Description:Proceed AVP AV Preamplifier Introduction The Proceed AVP is a full function audio/video preamp that combines audio preamplification, digital conversion, broadcast-quality video switching and surround sound decoding into a highly refined high-end gem. Priced at $4,995 (S-Video version), the Proceed AVP comes equipped with DTS, AC3, Pro Logic, THX and numerous other surround fields for both music and video playback. The digital section of the AVP uses Burr Brown 1702 20-bit Multibit DACs for the left and right channels and 1-bit, 24-bit compatible AKM Delta-Sigma DACs for the center, surround, aux and subwoofer channels. A dealer-provided software update will be available in the near future to get your AVP ready for the 24-bit 96 kHz performance. The AVP comes equipped with seven digital and eight analog highly flexible, assignable inputs. A special version of the AVP can be ordered in order to take up to four S-VHS inputs, as well as four composite inputs. A standard AVP comes with six composite video inputs. During the set-up process, you decide which audio and or video device is to go into what input. For example, you can set the primary and secondary input method; a DVD player would take a digital input first and possibly an analog second. The set-up process is not a cakewalk, but it is logical and intuitive. The AVP manual is among the best I have ever read, in that it is complete and easy to understand for the end user. The faceplate of the Proceed AVP has a non-traditional design that incorporates a sexy modern look with useful buttons in unconventional placements. The controls for the loudspeaker level adjusters are curved around the beautifully milled volume knob. This makes lots of sense in that the volume knob has a dual purpose: it also controls the surround parameters when desired. The design for the Proceed AVP’s remote is unique in that, unlike its competitors, it fits easily in your hand and features only nine buttons. Each button is within reach of your thumb for both left- and right-handers. The three main buttons toggle up and down smoothly. However, I frequently found myself making the mistake of switching my inputs when I wanted to lower the volume. Ultimately, I added a hand-held touch screen remote to control every component in my system, as well as to facilitate macros. Music on the Proceed AVP Proceed’s tie into the Mark Levinson line of electronics is evident as soon as you audition music through the AVP. The AVP is an excellent preamp, worthy to replace many a high-end two-channel contender on the market. Its 20-bit DAC sections for the right and left channels also qualify the AVP as a replacement for the digital conversion found on all but the best CD players and DACs currently on the market. In my theater application, two-channel music playback has a distinct problem in that my left and right speakers (M&K THX monitors) are installed into a bookcase. The center image is challenged, to put it politely, by a 35-inch Sony XBR tube television set with another M&K THX monitor blue tacked (with that gooey Silly Putty-like stuff) to the top. The musical result is there is very little blending of the left and right stereo speakers (the blend is known as center imaging). After 50+ hours of listening, I tried an experiment that would be considered blasphemy by some audio purists. I switched a two-channel CD over to one of the AVP’s surround modes, L/R Surround. The cut Lung from Hooverphonic’s Blue Wonder Power Milk (Epic) provided some of the best results. The center channel immediately solved the center imaging problem while the rears brought a surround sensation that, while obviously not discrete 5.1, was cool and far more musically involving than the traditional two-channel mode. Surprisingly, the L/R Surround mode was not shrill or cheap-sounding. Was it as good a DTS 20-bit CD? No, but with under 200 DTS and Dolby music titles currently on the market, using your AVP to take your music to the next level must be considered a major plus. The AVP really flexes its muscles for music in 5.1 surround especially on Boyz II Men’s Thank You from their II record (DTS Entertainment). Boyz II Men is a great group for discrete 5.1 surround. With four singers, you can experience musical trickery that swirls, pops and creates three-dimensional effects we only aspired to in the glory days of two-channel. On Thank You, the background vocal parts have the type of resolution and three-dimensional pop you’d expect to get from a $20,000 high end loudspeaker, imaged to the highest level. The musical experience was all-consuming, far beyond anything you can get from mere stereo. On Steely Dan’s Hey Nineteen from Gaucho (DTS Entertainment) you’re hearing a lesser recording mixed into 5.1. The cymbals sounded harsh and a bit shrill, but Michael McDonald’s signature backup vocals were well placed in the rear channels. The song performance through the Proceed AVP was more exciting than I have ever heard it on my reference music system, but it lacked the resolution of the more modern Boyz II Men recording. The Movies One critical, often overlooked aspect of an AV preamp is the importance of a high-quality video distribution and switching mechanism. The AVP uses a broadcast-quality video switching video section capable of passing an HDTV signal with an output bandwidth of 65 MHz. The result of the careful attention paid to the video performance is evident on sources such as scene three of Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery (New Line – DTS LD). Here Austin (Mike Myers) does his mod dance sequences fully clad in a crushed blue velvet suit and accompanied by one of the most vibrantly dressed casts ever caught on film. On lesser AV preamps, the blacks seem faded and the brilliant colors look muted. On the AVP, the colors pop with unparalleled beauty and the blacks are extremely dark. With the Proceed AVP, you’ll enjoy more than just amazing audio effect – the picture is simply wonderful. For an all-out test of the surround capabilities of the AVP, I looked to Tomorrow Never Dies (MGM-UA DVD - AC3) the latest James Bond video release. Chapter 20 has two phenomenal tests of a high performance home theater. First, as Pierce Brosnan’s Bond and actress Michelle Yeoh’s Wai Lin try to escape via motorcycle while being chased by Chinese assassins in Range Rovers and a helicopter, the duo create a trap in a crowded marketplace. The assassins’ gunshots accidentally set off an entire truckload of fireworks. The surround effect on a lesser system can become blurred, seeming like a sheer wall of sound attacking your ears. On the Proceed AVP, all five of the main loudspeakers are lit up with a dynamic yet detailed explosion that all of a sudden blooms into one of the most amazing home theater moments I have ever heard. The second test in chapter 20 of Tomorrow Never Dies is at the end of the scene where Bond and Wai Lin are seemingly trapped by the helicopter, which is looming in on the two heroes as they are backed into a dead-end corner. In true Bond fashion, the agents escape by looping a metal laundry wire to the landing gear of the helicopter and immediately taking off. In order to flee their pursuers, Bond and Wai Lin need to slide the motorcycle under the rotating copter blades and jump into a water well. As they pull off this seemingly impossible act, you hear the most tremendous swirling effect with the helicopter blades, coupled with pounding bass. The two dive into the water well and the helicopter explodes with an impact I have never heard before in my theater. The next scene soothingly cues Bond and Wai Lin taking a makeshift shower in an alley way, with the delicate trickle of water strikingly juxtaposed against the preceding cacophony of a helicopter crash. Conclusion The Proceed AVP is the best value in all of the AV preamps. At $4995, it is far from cheap, but it has all of the features and high-end performance you’d expect from a Madrigal product; you would need to spend upwards of $15,000 to get anything comparable elsewhere. The fit and finish is great and the ease of use is much better than average. As a two-channel preamp, the Proceed AVP could replace nearly all of the existing preamps on the market even if you saved the surround features for future home theater upgrades. The Proceed AVP is a home run of a product. You’ll be proud to own one as the centerpiece of your high performance multi-media system.
