This is clean as it gets and can see it has seen very little use. Serviced and LED upgraded. Works as it should - leds draw very little current and run very cool hence no heat , this leaves more power for the amplifier. 15 watts but sounds bette than most 100 watt rated modern Amps. Marantz 2215BL 240 V AC Vintage Receiver Tuner Amplifier 01/1977 2215B L Mint Condition Serviced.

This listing is for a Marantz 2215B Stereophonic Receiver in excellent cosmetic and functional condition. This unit features the full width silver faceplate Marantz is known for, but is just over 12” deep allowing it’s placement on narrower shelving units. It has been tested/serviced. A color copy of the Handbook of Instructions will be included. The following outline covers the testing/service work done: · All speaker connections have been tested and are working, both right and left channels. · Headphone jack was tested and is working. · AM/FM radio stations were received as expected across the radio dial using only a simple wire antenna. The dial pointer lamp was replaced with an LED-style lamp. · Tape and Aux inputs and outputs were tested and function as expected. · Phono input was tested and functions as expected. · All Switches and Potentiometers were flushed with contact cleaner, followed by treatment with the appropriate Deox-It formula. · The faceplate, dial scale and all knobs were removed, cleaned and hand polished. · The Stereo lamp was replaced with an LED and works as designed (when an FM Stereo broadcast is tuned). · All Meter and Radio Dial lamps were replaced with Cool Blue LED fuse-style lamps. · The Power Supply Board was re-capped. The filter cap was not replaced as it tested in-spec. · The light-diffusing Velum paper behind the radio dial was replaced for color clarity. · Cleaning on all exterior surfaces was done to improve appearance. · The foam cushioning used on the underside of the metal top was replaced to ensure a better fit. · The original Marantz power cord was cleaned/inspected. · Any missing top cabinet or bottom plate screws were replaced. · All feet were inspected and replaced as needed. · Watts/channel was checked using a Peak and RMS Output Meter to meet/exceed model specs. · A final extended use test was performed to ensure functionality.
