Magnepan LRS+ Plus Planer Magnetic Floorstanding Speakers. I am selling these speakers locally no shipping.

I have been making these for 6 months now. Sold over 10. Initially I sold for $45 then $50. Now minimum of $60. Only reason I can sell so cheap is because I get lumber for free. I only use red oak, white oak, maple, cherry or birch. Most are oak. I have enough lumber to complete maybe 15 more then I’m done. I’ve gotten much better at it. No more gaps and everything is flush. I am now offering stained and painted versions for $20-30 more. At a bare minimum I sand each piece (all 4 stands with 80 grit, then 120 grit then 180 grit sandpaper. The painted ones or stained get multiple coats with sanding in between. Each set takes me a minimum of 2 hours. See last pic for dimensions. The length can and will vary but mostly 23 inches long. I do this because most shipping boxes become a nuisance when I exceed 24 inches in any direction. The stand itself raises the bottom of each speaker a minimum of 11 inches off the ground. It obviously raises the top as well. I can make these for any magnepan speaker. I’ve found the only difference…so far is the mounting holes are either 2 inches or 3 inches apart. The smaller speakers such as MMG is 2 inches apart too to bottom on center . The larger speakers are all 3 inches apart. It takes my MMGs top from 48 inches tall to 59 inches tall. I will have some available for as low as $50 because I wasn’t satisfied with them cosmetically. They still function 100% . I firmly believe you could hang 100lbs speakers on these stands. I have set a 15 day handling time on this because it is simply just a side gig that is barely worth it. Sometimes I have some that are ready to go and other times I gotta do some work.

Used twice (received mid February) Magnepan LRS+ speakers, black fabric, with optional black Maggie stands. Purchased directly from the manufacturer in Minnesota. If you do not know about the speakers, please do your research before bidding these speakers require a lot of power to make them sound good and placement is crucial. The manufacturer says it usually takes about 50 hours of break in time before the speakers actually come to life and sound as they should I have only played them for about five hours , The speakers are not for loud pumping rock music, or bass. They have incredible sound quality in other areas , again if you do not know about these speakers, please do not bid on these speakers do your research first anyone who does know about this brand of speaker, knows the quality in them . I recently purchased the speakers, and the sound is just not what I was looking for , they will ship in their original box with the original stands included. There are aftermarket risers on them now , This MAGNEPAN LRS+ standing speaker is a great addition to any home audio setup. Magnepan LRS + practically brand new have owned them for only five months not even broken in yet. With custom stands ( and original ones that came with ) Manual, extra hardware, Blank warranty and original shipping and packing. Awesome loud speakers must hear them to feel the sound stage.

Bought new last Fall from authorized Magnepan dealer. Added the $300 risers (they do make a big difference). Will ship will ALL original paperwork and packaging. These are in excellent condition.

Mint Magnepan LRS with the included stands, in attractive off white with natural oak edges. A beautiful speaker that fits in effortlessly with minimalist, traditional, or mid-century modern decor. Less than twenty hours of play. Ordered direct from Magnepan last year. If you have the room and a beefy amp (100 watts or more) these will give you a taste of what dipoles can do for very little money. I just didnt have the real estate in my smallish living room to allow these to shine.This is the standard LRS with attractive natural oak edges, which also makes them much easier to grip and move around. Aesthetics were a major factor in my purchase. They have since dropped the wood trim option for the latest iteration, likely due to cost cutting. Offered for sale are my Magnepan LRS stereo speakers. These are in fantastic condition with no issues. They sound great! They come with the original box, manual, and pictured accessories (pair of 1 ohm and 2 ohm resistors for tweeter attenuation if desired, extra set of tweeter jumpers and spare tweeter fuses, and Magneplanar badges) I am only selling as they are a second set and I only need one. You just dont get this kind of clarity, transparency and soundstage from other speakers in this price range. I do have boxes but are not original (they are LRS+) Pair these with a good amp and maybe a sub and youll be in hifi heaven.
