Please note that these are not the newer LRS+ version.I should add that there is much debate over whether or not the LRS+ is worth the significant increase in price over the newer model.In other words this is a great deal if you have read all the reviews and are curious about how these excellent and hugely popular speakers sound. This one is with the black fabric and cherry trim as pictured. This was purchased on Audiogon from the original owner after two months of use in September 2021. They are in great condition with the exception of a some light marks on the wood trim that appear to have been made by the included stands during shipping at some point.Aside from those marks they are in excellent condition with no tears or rips in the fabric. The original box is not in like new condition but still fine for shipping. They include upgraded AMR fuses and a pair of Cadras jumper cables and all original accessories and documentation. The small Magnepan name plates were never attached. They have been kept in a pet free and kid free non smoking environment and treated with TLC.I have never pushed them to loud volumes. I live in a small apartment. I am letting these less than a year old Magnepan LRS+ go for a great price because the right speaker has a distortion (These speakers are in such high demand that it sometime takes up to a year to get them through Magnepan). I have attached a picture showing the speaker not looking normal. Magnepan LRS+ Plus Planer Magnetic Floorstanding Speakers. I am selling these speakers locally no shipping.

I have been making these for 6 months now. Sold over 10. Initially I sold for $45 then $50. Now minimum of $60. Only reason I can sell so cheap is because I get lumber for free. I only use red oak, white oak, maple, cherry or birch. Most are oak. I have enough lumber to complete maybe 15 more then I’m done. I’ve gotten much better at it. No more gaps and everything is flush. I am now offering stained and painted versions for $20-30 more. At a bare minimum I sand each piece (all 4 stands with 80 grit, then 120 grit then 180 grit sandpaper. The painted ones or stained get multiple coats with sanding in between. Each set takes me a minimum of 2 hours. See last pic for dimensions. The length can and will vary but mostly 23 inches long. I do this because most shipping boxes become a nuisance when I exceed 24 inches in any direction. The stand itself raises the bottom of each speaker a minimum of 11 inches off the ground. It obviously raises the top as well. I can make these for any magnepan speaker. I’ve found the only difference…so far is the mounting holes are either 2 inches or 3 inches apart. The smaller speakers such as MMG is 2 inches apart too to bottom on center . The larger speakers are all 3 inches apart. It takes my MMGs top from 48 inches tall to 59 inches tall. I will have some available for as low as $50 because I wasn’t satisfied with them cosmetically. They still function 100% . I firmly believe you could hang 100lbs speakers on these stands. I have set a 15 day handling time on this because it is simply just a side gig that is barely worth it. Sometimes I have some that are ready to go and other times I gotta do some work.
