ONKYO M-504 POWER AMPLIFIER GREAT CONDITION, PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY Built between 1987 and 1997. One of the best from Japan during those classic years . Beautiful to look at, wonderful sounding, and plenty of power (165watts into 8ohms). This particular example is in excellent condition. I consider excellent one step down from mint, which is one step down from new. THE METER LIGHT BULBS DO NOT WORK. The meters work properly, but the lights are out. Bulb replacement kits are easily obtainable. There is a small nick or damage in the bottom, back corner of the left side panel. Nothing major, but it’s there (please see the pictures). Also, there is a minor scratch on the top of the front bezel (again, please see the picture). These cosmetic issues are quite minor, but I want any potential owner to be aware of them. This is a very large amp. The case alone is 18 1/2” wide, and 15 1/2” deep (not including the speaker wire posts), and 7 1/2” tall. It’s very heavy. The only reason I am selling it is because I just don’t have the proper place to handle something this size. Also, be aware of the shipping costs, this is a big, heavy box. I am considering the fact that the meter lights are out and that there is a few minor cosmetic issues when I set the price, but this amp is a beauty. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thank you

A good used set of filter caps were installed from a newer donor unit of the same kind by the previous owner, after He did that it would not work and sold it to Me, I have repaired it, re-soldered the main board, replaced the meter bulbs with LED, detailed it, set the idle current, 120v, very nice amp, I have repaired/restored for years I will be out of town from the 9th to the 17th of Nov. this unit will be demoed at pick up

Powers on, no VU meters lights and no sound. Parts or repair, sold as non-functioning.

It is rare to find a 504/304 combo in such good condition, which is why I paid a premium for it. I have fully serviced both units and is now offered for sale. I installed new Gold plated RCA jacks on the P-304, and serviced all knobs/ pots. Everything works great. On the M-504, the bulbs were fine, but they die over time. So I installed two Straw-hat LEDs next to them which should outlive the incandescent bulbs. The unit was properly biased, and the meters calibrated. They were both off when I received the unit. Both units have custom Ash grain side panels in a dark Jamoca color. I personally chose the board such that the grain pattern continues from the pre-amp to the power amp. Both units (given their age are not perfect) but in super excellent condition. Those green meters are a joy to look at. I took several photos to help you see the value of this combo.

This is one perfect bundle that doesn’t ever come up in this condition. When I say it looks like every piece was just unwrapped out of the box today, I mean it. The gloss shines perfect on the piano finish of the wood sides and not a scratch on them. Please see pictures for details. I would prefer to sell this locally to avoid any damage through shipping, but I realize I will likely have to ship these and make sure they are packed perfectly. Bundle included the M-504, the P-304, and the T-9090ii. Any questions, please ask.
