This Amplifier has been tested as far as possible without a pre amp. All channels are functioning and it powers right up. Both sides light up. There are some scratches to the case, especially on the left side of unit. Please review photos carefully to see any damage. I have not attempted to remove scratches, some of them could come out. The face is in close to excellent condition with a few minor imperfections. Unit could use a thorough cleaning inside. This amplifier is being sold in as-is condition, presumed to be fully functional. I offer multiple shipping options, so please check to see what will be the best for you. UPS Ground is generally the best option for large and/ or heavy items. This unit weighs nearly 50 pounds, it will be double boxed and packaged with utmost care in hopes that it arrives at your door in excellent condition.

This classic amplifier and preamplifier set is in spectacular condition both functionally and cosmetically. I've spent $400 in the last two years having both fully serviced, cleaned, and maintained. This includes LEDs added to the VU meters, parts replacements, board repair, and protection circuit replaced with new relays. The amp is fully within spec and bias as you can see in the pictures. This auction is for an Onkyo Integra M-504 amplifier! This powered up without issue when I plugged it in, and the previous owner said it was working fine when he stuck it in his attic a few years ago. I dont have a preamp of any kind to test with, unfortunately, so powering it up was as far as I was able to go, so you could consider other aspects of this amplifier as being untested, being sold as is. Im selling this as functioning because it powered up so easily, but again, I havent hooked it up to a sound system. It does have a few scrapes on the sides (I took closeups of all sides), and a ding on the top where something was placed on top of it. If you are interested in purchasing, Im open to running any suggested tests. If not, look them up.....Offered for your purchasing pleasure is a matching set of ONKYO Integra components including the MASSIVE M-504 power amplifier with huge dual VU meters and the P-304 pre-amplifier! First and foremost, both work and are ready to use as pictured. TONS OF POWER. Video available. Read on for details: Maintenance consisted of the following:Amp chassis was dustered, was already super clean. See pic.No other cleaning done and no repairs made.The bad:Lighting on amplifier right side VU meter needs attention. Several times when turned on, the lamps would not illuminate. No apparent issues seen inside the chassis. A couple of taps on the outside would bring it on, but only one of the two lamps work. Probably easiest to change out all lamps on both sides, or run as is. Last few times we turned the amp on, the right side lit up immediately. Meter works no problem. See pics.Pre-amp is missing a REC selector knob. Replace one or both, or leave as is.Some spotting on pre-amp. Hard to notice unless youre really up close. We did a general cleaning only, some polishing may remove it. See pics.Testing/The Good:Amp has super clean and clear signal on all four speaker outputs.Tuner, CD and phono inputs are guaranteed working good, no other testing done.Both VU meters work well, bar the aforementioned lighting issue.Rosewood finish end caps are beautiful on both pieces, with some minor scratches on one panel on the amp. See pics. Please ask questions! Remember, this set weighs a ton and will not be easy to ship. Hence the charge. They will be shipped separately. These are very hard to come by, this is the original super server cable used on many Onkyo power amps and preamps of the 80s, its made to help eliminate crosstalk and basically is a balanced cable for those Onkyo power amps and preamps from that era.
