The speaker sounds excellent and has very low hours .. The working condition is outstanding.. This speaker never got to get fully broke in.. unfortunately, a bull got in the China shop and partially crushed in a corner on the back of the speaker.. The rest of it looks great, and it does look good looking straight at it, but it obviously has a serious effect on the value.. please examine the photos to see exactly what you will be receiving.. the Grill fits snug and looks great above or below a tv... this speaker, along with VR line, got very good reviews .. I also have 2 of the VR30s ( I had 4 .. sold a pair ).. all the specs can be found by a Google search.. BOSTON ACOUSTICS VR12 LYNNFIELD 3-WAY CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER VR-12 NICE HD PICS I now present to you a much sought after Boston VR LYNNFIELD 3-WAY CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER. I purchased this unit several years ago because it was kept in a controlled environment and in very good shape structurally along with pristine sound. Personally, I have owned almost every Boston Acoustics VR (Video Monitor) speaker from floor to bookshelf to almost every BA center channel speaker. The VR12s were designed for voice/music. Where as the Boston Acoustics VR14 are THX certified for film or cinema and sound slightly tinny to me. In my opinion, the VR12s are the best full range speakers with a warm tone to them. I love listening to them. More than one person has used the VR12 for front left and right for home theater set-up. A very versatile speaker. I rate them a 8/10 for cosmetics and speaker quality as the rubber surrounds on the speakers themselves are still very pliable and the tweeters are in perfect shape. If you are reading this auction you probably know what this is. But do your research and youll find how highly rated these pieces are. You will be hard-pressed to find this speaker in this condition. Local pick up is encouraged and it is also advertised locally here in Orlando. If you do choose shipping, it will be well-packaged and insured.
