i plugged the unit into speakers the sound was excellent on one channel, but the thee other channel would cut in and out, when the unit is in MONO the sound out of both left and right is great. Includes features like a built in DAC with optical and coax inputs, a nice sounding phono input with selectors for MC or MM carts, and plenty of other inputs for your sources. Vintage audiophile amp--top-of-the line Japanese quality in fantastic condition: Very clean, with only hard-to-see scuffs or nicks. This was my in my go-to music setup before I needed to downsize. Comes with the original manual and schematic diagram. This integrated amp has the famous Luxman sound: Strong bass drive, velvety but clear mid-range with an overall detailed soundstage supported by flexible tone controls. Digital input is supported by the built-in 16 bit D/A converter (with 4X oversampling) so that the digital signal is transmitted with lossless transmission to the all-FET differential power amplifier for 110W per channel @ 8 ohms (20 Hz - 20 kHz, .015% THD). The LV-117 has a versatile interface that supports both coax and optical inputs and can drive two sets of speakers (A/B).
