This Logitech Squeezebox Transporter was tested for one week in my office system using both LMS Music Server and Roon. The unit has been updated to the latest software (v. 87) and as a precautionary measure, the 5V power supply has been upgraded with all new, high quality Rubycon electrolytic capacitors. The unit has also been factory reset and cleaned. You will see that there are some scratches and blemishes on top of the case. Please review all the pics and accompanying video for further details on condition and functionality. Sale includes replacement antennas and power cord. Like all Squeezebox products, the Transporter uses the fully supported and free-forever Logitech Media Server (LMS). The latest version is v8.5. LMS runs on all popular platforms to include Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and ReadyNAS. The Transporter can also be used as a ROON endpoint as well. The Squeezebox platform is arguably the most versatile streaming ecosystem available - and it continues to be supported by what may be the largest single-product-line audio user community in existence today. Hello, I have for sale a tech Transporter SE network player. I imported it from the US (Ebay) some time ago as I always wanted to have one but could never justify or afford the original one. I think I bought one of the last ones available on Ebay (a bit of an impulse purchase to be honest). After powering it up and looking at these beautiful analogue VU for a bit I have not used it since so it had like maximum of 10hrs of power on time in total so when it comes to usage time its in like new - definitely the displays are not burnt out or anyhow affected. It works as expected, with no scratches etc. Original packaging with all inserts and illuminated remote. It requires a Logitech Media server to be run or it works perfectly with Roon (with some limitations but the analogue VU work). it has got digital inputs so it can work as a DAC and digital pre-amplifier (however as far as I understand it cannot be connected directly to a power amplifier).It is with regret that I have to sell it - but there is no point to keep something which is not used and only gathers dust. I hope somebody here will still want to use it as part of a hi-fi system.
