What youre looking at is a complete turnkey phono stage, minus interconnects (You will have to provide your own RCAs & grounding cable). The turntable is a piano black Fluance RT85 with some choice upgrades. There are surface imperfections if you go looking for them, but nothing in the way of dents, dings or big ugly scrapes/scars are present. This table just has the unavoidable surface level imperfections that come along with a piano black surface. It was purchased in summer of 2023 and hasnt seen a ton of use. The most notable upgrade/s are the aluminum & sorbothane isolation feet and matching record puck/weight from MNPCTech. These items are designed specifically for Fluance RT Series turntables and are really sturdy. The feet act as a built-in isolation platform of sorts while the puck/weight is a nice touch aesthetically. Combined, they give the Fluance RT85 a more aggressive overall look and add quite a bit of mass. Cartridge 1 is a brand new Ortofon 2M Blue MM. Cartridge 2 is an Audio Technica AT120e MM. This is a rock solid backup cartridge as-is, but theres a crazy upgrade path for this thing. Everything from $15-$20 conical styli all the way up to $230-$240 nude shibata styli are plug n play. This cartridge could very easily become your #1 should you decide to upgrade it. Also included is a Pro-Ject Phono Box S2 phono preamplifier. This is a much nicer phono preamp than the offering on the Fluance website. There are dip switches on the bottom of this unit that allow you to match it with different phono cartridges. One of these dip switches is chipped off, but still fully functional. The defect isnt in view when the preamp is in use and it doesnt hinder functionality/performance in any way. To round things off, there are two (2) Fluance headshells included. One of these headshells is complete with lead wires and the other has no lead wires. Included items & MSRP are listed below: - Fluance RT85 (Piano Black finish. Acrylic platter, dustcover, belt, 12v walwart, & 45 adapter in original box). I bought this new a couple years ago while my main TT was being serviced. Used it for about 30 days then it went into reserve status again. I used it on and off over the past week to ensure all was good prior to listing it, and it is!! It is easily in Excellent condition and certainly close to near mint, if not near mint. Of course piano black shows everything…and this does quite well cosmetically at about a 9.5. The lid is probably a 9/10, as it has the typical swirl marks from dusting with a dry cloth and some very minor scratches. The Cartridge and Needle are in OUTSTANDING condition, 9.8/10 as there are less than 20 hours on the table! Comes with original box. Will be shipped UPS or Fedex ground, my call.
