Welcome to my listing of my Setup & Maintenance Jig for the Linn LP12, this has been updated from my V2 jig, it is now a bolted together solution, as opposed to the previous version that used tie wraps as a semi permanent assembly, so it can be dismantled if required to be stored away flatpacked. The LP12 supports have been re-designed to allow the turntable to be inserted into the jig upside down, so upgrading your turntable is made easy with its internals easily accessed from the top. I have had buyers of this jig let me know that the LP12 supports also work with the following turntables as well Ariston RD11 and RD11SLinn Axis Features carried over from the previous version include:- Larger cutouts to the side to make the loading of the turntable into the jig easier, Thumbwheel adjustment feet, to allow an easier levelling process, Soft rubber feet bonded onto the side frame, allowing the adjustment feet to be retracted up, and giving the jig a much greater grip on its resting surface if non levelling tasks are performed. The jig is manufactured from 6mm MDF sheet. It allows you to make easy adjustments to the sub chassis springs, with the turntable being held securely and horizontally in the frame. The frame is a strong structure, I have included an image of a Linn LP12 plinth loaded with over 30Kg in weight, which is obviously not recommended, but it does show what the jig is capable of. ***Please note, this listing is for the Linn LP12 variant only, I can produce supports for the following turntables, but if you want a jig for the Thorens turntables listed then please do not purchase this, as the LP12 supports will be sent, please message me and I can cut and supply a jig for you.*** Thorens TD150 Mk I & II Thorens TD160 Super Thorens TD160B Mk IIThorens TD160 Mk I If you wish to purchase Thorens supports in addition to the LP12 supplied with this listing then I can supply additional sets for £7.50, each of the above variants use different supports, so please message me for further info. The supports allow the turntable to be placed into the jig, and allow the base to be removed with no interference from the jig or supports, whilst removal of the base is not always needed to adjust the springs (as access holes are provided on some turntables), it allows access to the underside of the turntable to service or change parts/tonearms etc, however with this latest variant the turntable can be inverted for a much more convenient and easier process of upgrading and repairing the turntable. The frame comes flat packed and is assembled by slotting the panels and braces together, but can be collapsed to flat pack again for easy storage when not in use, instructions for assembly are provided.
