Im the second owner of this LFD Zero LE mkIII and have had this one for years powering my Harbeths at low-to-medium volume. Its performed beautifully and Ill definitely miss it. Im selling because Ive upgraded to a new separates setup. Upgraded meaning Ive gained some characteristics, but loss some loved qualities that this LFD brings to the sonic presentation. Dont know what more to say about this. Im guessing if youre looking at this listing you know all about LFD. This is one of the incarnations of Dr. Richard Bews well-loved amplifier design couple to a passive preamplifier front to make up the entire integrated amplifier. While passive preamps have always had a reputation of degrading sound, Dr. Bews design of the amplifier takes into account his design of the passive preamplifier stage. This is the integrated amplifier that Sam Tellig of Stereophile gushed about in his article of how it paired so well with Harbeth speakers to his ears. The unit is fully functional at the time that I packed it up in the original double-box configuration for shipping by LFD. Ive never had any issues with it in the time Ive owned it.
