This is a nice looking Krell HTS 7.1 home theater pre amp. I’ve been using it as an analog pre-amp for OPPO 105. It works fantastic with the OPPO. Without it, the OPPO sounds very uninvolving. However, the right surround channel went bad sometime ago. First got no sound. When I tried to reconnect, it blew up the woofer of my speaker. I then used the two surround-backs to continue my 5.1 output from OPPO. It’s been working well that way for a couple of years. Still working now. Please don’t try that surround right SR channel. Other than that, everything else is working fine and the balanced 2-channel input sounds wonderful. The unit looks near mint. No obvious scratches or dents. It comes with the original remote. No orig box. Heavy discount for that one SR channel.

What an incredibly well built and amazing sounding pre-amp… Forget about using any of the video circuitry and simply use it as a reference 5-channel or 2-channel preamp with your favorite amplifier! DSD discs and standard Red Book CDs sound remarkable. Use the balanced outputs whenever possible and sit back and enjoy some the best imaging and soundstage we have ever heard! I can’t believe this piece at 30 years and counting (!) still competes with components we have set up today… Just incredible- The fit and finish and internal components were almost $10,000.00 in the day! The remote control feels like it was made out of a solid piece of aluminum billet (actually, it was!) and everything seems to work perfectly- I wish I had room somewhere to keep this piece warmed up and used… It is now iconic and classic. Krell SBP-64X dac in excellent physical condition and does turn on but no sound is coming out of both outputs. Will need to be repaired. I believe it was repaired by the sticker on the back of the unit in 2023 but still does not work.

Here for sale is a Krell KSA-100S Amplifier. It arrived to us with bias issues causing excessive heat in one channel. We serviced the driver boards to restore proper sliding bias function but after extended use the unit went into protection and no longer powers on. We sent the unit to the Krell factory for further diagnosis. Some long term water exposure was identified and the unit was deemed beyond economical repair We are, therefore, selling this amplifier AS IS for PARTS or REPAIR ONLY. This unit has some cosmetic issues including deep scratches on the front handles and top cover. There are also misc. blemishes on all remaining metal surfaces. No rear handles present. Krell Phantom III Line Stage Preamplifier With upgraded DAC Module. Updated software at Krell service recently to activate the DAC board upgrade paid $250 labor plus it is a $1500 upgrade. Invoice from Krell included. The Unit is Perfect. No flaws. 9/10 condition only because it was hooked up briefly, otherwise new condition. All accessories included and Factory box. Smoke free Home. Very low hours on a secondary system. If you have any questions please ask. The Phantom preamplifier is a dual monaural design with the left and right channels given their own power supply regulation and individual circuit boards. All signal gain is executed with surface mount technology using proprietary multiple-output current mirrors. Featuring 700 kHz bandwidth in a zero feedback, balanced, Krell Current Mode design, the Phantom III shares the same design philosophy as the Phantom preamplifier. Negative feedback is not used anywhere in the preamp. The volume control is a balanced resistor ladder and the headphone circuitry is identical to the main circuitry, “offering private listening with the same performance as speaker playback”.The digital module supports up to 24 bit/192kHz LPCM. All digital signals are fed to an ESS Sabre DAC and then sent to Krell’s Current Mode, discrete, balanced analogue circuitry.

Up for sale is my Krell K-300i Integrated Amplifier. This is a current product from Krell and still offered for sale by them (this product offering came out in 2019). Its a tremendous integrated amp, listed as a Class A Product for Integrated Amplifiers in Stereophiles semiannual Recommended Products list and got a great review from them in November of 2019 - the link here https://www.stereophile.com/content/krell-k-300i-integrated-amplifier. I am only selling it because I just turned 64 and have been an audiophile for 51 years and am retired now and decided to downsize my system. I bought this brand new in the summer of 2022, so its only about 16 months old. The condition is perfect, as new, and I have the original box, packaging, owners manual, remote control, power cord, and all the paperwork. This puts out 150 watts/channel into 8 ohms and 300 watts/channel into 4 ohms, and it did a great job of powering my Revel Ultima Salon II speakers. Please see the Krell website or the Stereophile review article to see the specifications, this amplifier handles everything you can throw at it, including streaming just about every service that is out there, also streams bluetooth from your smartphone or tablet. This also has the optional DAC as well which is a $1000 option. The price on these has climbed up over the past three years and now stands as $9750 as outfitted with the optional DAC.
