They are know for a huge sound stage and presense. This pair is solid. There are some water marks on the tops, a chip on one front corner, but all drivers are working, controsl are cleaned and grills are nice. Hallo eBayer, Ich verkaufe hier ein Paar Vintage Lautsprecher der Marke KEF aus den 70er Jahren. Es handelt sich um den Reference Series Model 104aB. Zustand ist gebraucht mit den für einen Lautsprecher diesen Alters üblichen Gebrauchsspuren. Ich habe beide Lautsprecher getestet und sie funktionieren (soweit ich es beurteilen kann) einwandfrei. Die Lautsprecherabdeckungen sind nicht mehr vorhanden. Verkauf nur an Selbstabholer. Wir sind ein haustierfreier Nichtraucher-Haushalt. Viel Spaß beim Bieten!

Rare black version. The interior speaker components are all shiny and intact, with no punctures, tears or warping. (Please see photos.) Some stains on the fabric of one speaker cover and the rear of another; I did not try to use any cleaners on the materials. Speaker B has a static to it. The problem can be repaired, but American Audiophile in Lynbrook, NY, closed during the pandemic and in the meantime I purchased new speakers for my dad which he uses instead of these. EXCELLENT SOUNDING AND LOOKING. PURCHASED A FEW YEARS AGO FROM ORIG. OWNER, HE REFINISHED THE CABINETS A DARK BROWN ALMOST BLACK WITH OLIVE GRILLES, ALSO HAD THEM RE-CAPPED USING ALCAP CAPACITORS. I BOUGHT 2 SYSTEMS FROM HIM BUT WAS UNABLE TO GET THE KEF STANDS ( his son took those). ALL IN ALL THEY LOOK AND SOUND GREAT, NEVER ABUSED. ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES SELLING AS-IS QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK
