Thats because, shortly after the purchase, we bought another device that can play and transfer records and cassettes to CDs. This turntable is used but in very good condition. It does not have a manufacture date clearly visible on it. The power has been tested and works. It has a brand new belt and it spins as it should, as shown in the video. It has an attached audio cord and requires a preamp and speakers for proper sound quality. The audio cord has bits of rubber band stuck to it. The plastic dust cover is not included. A great turntable with a lot of life left in it. Best for someone with a little knowledge of the other components necessary. Check out my vinyl listings for the perfect add on!
