Compu-calibration automatically adjusts record settings for perfect recordings. Has pitch control and microphone input. Precisely aligned using fresh alignment tapes and a Sound Technology 1510 tape system analyser. All belts and pinch rollers replaced, bias and levels as well as speed correctly set. The measured specs are excellent. I measured the frequency response and it was flat from 20Hz to 15kHz with low wow and flutter of below 0.1% RMS weighted. It might not be a Nakamichi Dragon, but to my ears, it sounds about as good. Serial 104C2817

This unit has had moderate usage. No grove on audio heads or capstains. Heads are somewhat dull from oxidization but have decent frequency response. As the pictures show, the cover was drilled for mounting in a pro rack. The transport is fully functional. For evaulation, we put capstain belts into it and left them in place. Just needs two pairs of pinch rollers - as far as we can tell. These typical wear parts are widely availiable. Replacement must be done by someone higly skilled with similar equipment. A Not Working condition is claimed, so no returns. Priced accordingly. Feel free to ask questions.

For sale is a JVC TD W-354 Double Cassette Deck AS IS PART REPAIR Powers On Plays Bad Noise. This player will power on, spin tapes on both sides and rewind/ fast forward bur it makes a horrible noise while playing. The front screen fact appears to still have a sticker/ cover that has not been peeled back. Sold for parts/ repair and comes as pictured above.
