JVC SEA-80 10 Band Graphic Equalizer Spectrum Analyzer The unit was open and the inside was clean of any dirt or dust that have haveaccumulated inside it over the years. The case was wiped down and cleaned. I dont have the equipment to fully test this unit. It does power on and displaylights on the Spectrum Analyzer. All the knobs move freely and/or press in and out. From the looks of it, it appears the previous owner took very goodcare of it. Since it is not fully tested, I am selling as-is with no returns. Please see photos for content and physical condition. Some knobs or sliders have to be slided or switched twice or more to function well. The right bunb on the display is out and needs to be replaced. The display has 2 lines , horizontal direction missing or not working. The machine itself has some old metal smell , i dont know if it is normal but prefer to describe it as accurate as possible. The condition is not bad for its age. The sound output is OK. Otherwise not tested. JVC S.E.A. 80. The equalization works but it has two issues. 1. The Right Channel Pink Noise lever is stuck in the up position. This isnt great, but if it were stuck in the down position, you would only have Pink Noise in the Right Channel 2. The Left Channel Display Mode Button doesnt stay in, thus you cant monitor whats happening in that channel unless you hold it in with your finger (see photo). These issues cant be fixed without another donor unit, so this is either something you buy to repair, or use as your donor unit.
