An absolutely iconic and incredibly awesome pair of vintage JBL C37 Speakers in as found original condition. These exceptional speakers are loaded with D123 speakers and LE25-4 Tweeters and are both in working condition. (Note - I am not an Audiophile so I don’t know the technical ins and outs of these). The Walnut cases show nicely but do have some chips and marks as pictured. One cabinet has multiple wood screw holes on the left side which were filled at some point in their life. One grill cloth is likely not original and is missing the JBL badge as pictured. These speakers have a great modern look and sounded great when we tested them. We are selling this hard to find pair in as found original condition for use as-is or for restoration. These are available for viewing or pickup in Long Beach CA. JBL - D123 SPEAKERS -- VINTAGE X 2Serial numbers 53293 & 53294 = Original California production Overall in very good shape. Recently removed from the wood cabinets. Stored for years in a dry low humidity environment in Davis, CA.The paper cones are intact = no holes or tears. The center metal foil cone on one speaker has an indentation = YES I slipped while handling and hamhandedly bumped it. My BAD. I have tested both on an Amp/Tuner and both function = I didnt notice any distortion on the dented cone speaker. Discoloration on the paper cones is from the way they were originally mounted. I am assisting a friend dispose of his fathers estate = that is my source. The photos should give you a good representation of condition. On Oct-29-23 at 17:02:06 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE CONCERNING TESTING FOR FUNCTION I was able to hook up both speakers routed thru a N2600 Crossover --powered by a Denon DRA-335A - 180 Watt Amp/tuner.  Speakers sounded GREAT.  Glad to have been able to hook to a Quality Amp. Verified that the speaker with the small indent in the center foil cone did NOT have distortion.
