One channel needs repair/replacement and it is priced accordingly. The amp has recently been inspected by Adams Electronics (a $180 fee) and all other parts are functional, I have uploaded the repair invoice indicating it needs a new board for one channel. Audio Research I/50 Integrated Tube Amp Black w/ DAC + PHONO Modules I am selling my like new black I/50 integrated amp by audio research. I am the original owner of it. It comes exactly as it would if you bought it brand new. This is the most desirable color and speced out unit in my opinion as it comes with both the $1000 (?) DAC upgrade (which sounds AMAZING) and the same $1000 Phono Card Upgrade. This maxes out the potential of the unit and its in a sleek black color which I liked most. There are a few hundred hours on it total as it was a 3rd system for me so its literally perfectly broken in and sounds wonderful. Its a deceptively small system but when I plugged it into my Wilson Sasha 2 speakers it powered them with ample amounts of power and sounded great there and it also made these Tannoy System 1000 speakers that I used with them sound excellent as well. Due to the condition, # of hours and options I priced it at $5500 which I feel is fair since its $7500 brand new. Im open to serious offers on it and can ship quickly. Audio Research VSi60 integrated amplifier in excellent condition. I purchased it gently used 7 years ago with about 100 hours of use on the tubes according to the previous owner. I put an additional 100 hours into them and really, really enjoyed every bit of audio I ever put through this machine. However, when I moved to NYC a little over 5 years ago, I had to consolidate a lot of my audiovisual equipment into a single room instead of having the luxury of dedicated audio space...so this unit has sat safely in storage within my apartment for the past 5 years or so. Despite what on its face may seem like a fairly modest output power (50Wpc), this integrated amp REALLY excels with low impedance speakers and is a very handsome centerpiece for an audio setup that doesnt have unlimited cabinet space for a more complex setup. Stereophile and several other outlets still have their pre-release reviews published online if youd like more information about how they perform. This unit will come with its original remote (as pictured), its original users manual, and will ship in its very secure original box. It will come with the included extra fuses as well as all of its tubes in an additionally lined and secured box inside. I was holding out hope that my situation might change over the past 5 years and I would be able to justify setting this up again—especially since units like these come on the secondary market less and less every year, and tubes havent gotten easier to replace in more thoroughly used units in the future—but at this point I really want someone else to enjoy this instead of having it go unappreciated in storage. .I assume if your looking you know the sound and build quality that this amp represents. Its been the highlight of my main system for the last 20 years and sounds as good today as when new.. Its been in a non-smoking home and was housed a dedicated audio cabinet and was primary used for music. I had bi-amped my main speakers (Mcintosh LS360s) using 4 of the channels and the other three for the center and rear speakers. There is a small area on the top corner of the left front panel that has cosmetic damaged when it was shipped to me as well as one of the channels speaker terminals that was pushed in very slightly. I have included pictures of each area, none of which affected the operations in any way. I had zero plans to ever move it out of my system but came across a BAT VK-6200 at a price I couldnt pass up. It is clear that both amps were designed by the same individual Victor Khomenko.The RDC-7 was $5000 new and was still half price of anything that BAT produced. Its a very large and heavy amplifier.
