Time to pass along my Audio Research VSi60. Does not get enough listening time in my old age. Just back from shop for check up with a clean bill of health. Looks almost perfect, performs exactly as it should. There are tons of reviews, so I wont go into all the specs or details. Both Stereophile and Absolute Sound had nothing but good to say about this amp, and I completely agree. Great sound at a great price. Tubes that are currently installed are like brand new, very few hours. I have switched over to total streaming units just for ease of use, so this wonderful amp needs a new home. Comes with original box, manual, and remote. Remote battery door broken. it still works just fine. Double boxed for safe shipping. Great amplifier.

ACOUSTIC RESEARCH STEREO INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER Offered for sale is this AR Amplifier. I have been sitting on it for decades (stored in a box in a closet) waiting for the day I will put together a quality vintage stereo system. Sadly, I have too many projects and its just not going to happen. I haven’t turned it on in a very long time and I don’t know if it still works. It has not been tested and should be thoroughly checked out, and, given the length of time it has been sitting, likely have components replaced. HiFiAudio.com sells a reasonably priced rebuild/restoration kit (with step-by-step instructions and support/help) for this amplifier. Very clean and good cosmetically, front plate and controls in really nice shape – presents very well. All controls and knobs turn freely. Very minor marks from careful use. Acoustic Research was a Cambridge, Massachusetts company that produced high-end audio components, this model was made from 1968 to 1971 to complement their AR-XA turntable and legendary AR-3 loudspeakers. Very much a minimalist amplifier, with phono, tuner and tape inputs, volume, bass and treble, and signal mode (stereo, mono, null) controls. This was a very powerful (for its time) amplifier with a simple and straightforward set of controls. It was really the first decent sounding solid state integrated amplifier capable of driving low impedance loads cleanly. In the late 60s and 70s this was quite a piece of equipment. These were also very reliable amps too. Wonderful addition for any Acoustic Research fan. Power output: 50 watts per channel into 8? For Sale - Integra Research RDA-7 Amplifier. If you are looking at this ad you need no explanation as to what this amp is! It is in excellent physical condition. One channel needs repair/replacement and it is priced accordingly. The amp has recently been inspected by Adams Electronics (a $180 fee) and all other parts are functional, I have uploaded the repair invoice indicating it needs a new board for one channel. If you are handy you can repair the specific amplifier channel, or bypass the channel and use 6 channels.
