Rare Hitachi CX-W750W Boombox Ghettoblaster CD, Radio, Cassette. Dual enclosure system, with 3D Acoustic Super Woofer. Has 3D graphic equaliser, and digital synthesizer tuner. An amazing piece of vintage audio kit. One of Hitachis finest of the era. Its absolutely massive and weighs to match. Cosmetically in great condition all round, all buttons, knobs, sliders etc are intact and all seem to function as they should. The aerial has mostly snapped off at some point but still picks up FM and AM. And the right speaker cover grille is dented as shown in photos. The CD player is working perfectly. The radio is working fine also on both bands. The tape cassette decks need new belts I think, when play of ffwd/rwd are pressed the spindle/wheel next to head turns fine, so the motor is okay, but once cassette is inserted and play pressed it doesnt play. Amazingly loud and clear sound, and thats only on 3/4 volume! Overall a fantastic example of a high end Hitachi CD boombox. Tested with a mains lead, the battery compartment is very clean as seen in photos, but I dont have the required batteries to test it with. For the age this is in overall good condition and has been kept well This turns on just fine with the mains lead but hasn’t been tested with batteries unfortunately Due to the age I would say the belts on the cassette players would need changing and I’m unsure if these work as I don’t have tapes to test them Any questions please ask

Hitachi 3D Super Woofer Twin Drive TRK-3D80E This item turns on and the radio works. The buttons for the surround, the equilizers etc all seem to work fine. I have no tapes to test the tape deck unfortunately and the tape deck on the left has a stuck record button so I would presume that this wouldnt work. I was pleasantly surprised how this sounded with the surround active. The front grill seems to have marks all on it, possibly specs of paint.

Hitachi TRK-3D40e - 3D Bass Super Woofer Vintage Radio Cassette Boombox.. In very good cosmetic condition. Upon testing, the radio works correctly and clearly, however the right speaker seems to be intermittent. Most likely an easy fix. The tape deck will need some attention though, again could be an easy fix, Im not sure. Please take this into account when buying. Antenna might need tightening but signal and sound very clear as it is. Very loud this with additional bass etc. Not too heavy either makes it easily transportable. Priced accordingly
