I thought that this might be caused by a bad belt, but after opening the unit it seemed like the belt was in good condition, so the issue might be more than just that. Harman Kardon CD301 Ultra-Wide Band Linear Phase Cassette Deck acquired from the family of the original owner. Thoroughly tested and everything works as it should. Worth mentioning is that this deck makes Excellent recordings. Playback is also excellent, with both left and right channels having strong output. All switches, controls, meters, etc. work as designed. Cosmetically there are some light scratches on the volume knob. Also, there is an orange circular mark around one of the meters. The meter works and it has no effect on function. At first, I thought it was part of the HK design, after looking at other examples I realized its not a design statement. harman kardon CD301 Cassette Deck HiFi. Das Tape ist defekt. Vorspulen rckwrtsspulen funktioniert. Leider beim abspulen stoppt das Tape Deck nach drei Sekunden. An der Kassette kann es nicht liegen sondern es muss an den Bandriemen liegen. Somit konnte ich auch nicht testen ob Ton rauskommt, denn innerhalb der Zeit wo das Bandlaufwerk luft und wieder abschaltet kommt kein Ton. Daher wird das Tablet als defekt verkauft.
