This is a Hanss Acoustics T10 Special Edition Belt Drive Turntable. I purchased this turntable brand new 3 months ago from a dealer in Canada, I believe it was NOS. Hanss no longer sells this turntable under their own name, but it can still be purchased under their other name, Amari. I unpacked the table long enough to mount a tonearm and verify that everything works as it should, and it does. The table is armless, but comes with the arm board to mount any Rega Tonearm From the RB-250 all the way up to the current generation. Many OEM arms will also work with this arm board. This is a Belt Drive Turntable with a Magnetic main bearing that suspends the ceramic plater bearing just above the ball bearing to reduce friction and ware. Its a pretty ingenious system, really. It has an Alloy sub-platter with an Acrylic main platter. A Felt plater mat as well as a Cork/Rubber platter mat are included. Table is driven by a Synchronous Motor using a 12v 500mA wall wart power supply. The Special Edition model is finished in Cherry with Gold badging. Turntable will be packed in all the original packing (double boxed by Mfg) and include the owners manual just as when I received it. Note that a tonearm IS NOT included, this is an armless table that is ready to accept any Rega or OEM Rega tonearm. I tested it with a Rega RB-202.
