This listing is for a used Hafler DH-101 Stereo Pre amplifier. This item has been tested for power only. Due to this fact Ill be selling for parts and repair only, doesnt mean it doesnt work, just untested. Let me give you some background.This was purchased at an estate sale along with tons of other equipment, tonsss. The person who passed clearly must have fixed these as a hobby or a living. I bought near an entire wall of similar equipment which will be listed in coming days. He had a repair room that was 10x15 long. I dont know if the was formerly repaired or not. So far - the equipment I have tested 8/9 have worked good. One didnt power on at all. Im at the point where, its just to much to continue testing. So Im selling As Is. This is a Vintage HAFLER DH-101 Stereo Preamplifier. This was made in the United States by the David Hafler Company sometime in the late 1970s. I used it with the phone inputs, the other inputs are not tested. The power button tends to stay on but will occasionally turn off. Because Im not sure of the functionality of the other inputs and the unreliability of the power button Ive listed this For Parts/Not Working. There is normal surface wear with some scratches to the faceplate and edge wear to the shell. The knobs are functional and turn smoothly. As with these older pieces of vintage stereo equipment, it is best to assume that some restoration and upgrading of components is most likely necessary so please keep this in mind prior to purchase. If you are familiar with the use and repair of these amps, then this should make a great restoration project for you.

The item you are viewing is a Vintage HAFLER DH-101 Stereo Preamplifier ~ Restoration Project ~ Powers On. This was made in the United States by David Hafler Company sometime in the late 1970s.
