(see photos) This surface rust can easily be sanded off and repainted. The face plate looks good, but does have a few scratches. I brought this unit up slowly on a variac and it performs well. Ive used it for several hours with a streamer though the AUX input and a turntable through the Phono 2 input and it sounds good. I will tell you the previous owner was very intelligent by looking at some of his hand written notes, he was a skilled pilot, very much an audiophile, telescope enthusiasts with an observatory built into his house, I would rest assured this kit was put together with procession. Included is what I can only guess was an optional rack mounted face plate, as I could not find another. I am not sure what is meant to be bolted to the far left side. Tested briefly with an iPod. It powers on and both channels work. There was a bit of static and pops when turning controls. Will at least need a good cleaning with De-Oxit and maybe more. Sold As-Is.
