Up for sale, a pair of vintage Goodmans X.O. 5000 2 way speaker crossovers. They were removed from a working pair of speakers. The plastic potentiometer knob trim ring is broken on one of the knobs. This piece is only cosmetic though. There is also a small ball of melted solder rhe is imbedded in one of the plastic housings for the crossoner -see pics. Offered is a very nice hi fidelity Goodmans Axiom 150 Mk2 --10 inch speaker in a custom made veneered cabinet.Built for me in the 70s--the speaker is mounted high in the cabinet-the cabinet is built of 3/4 inch particle board--veneered and trimmed with bleached sycamore The cabinet is lined with 1 inch thick sound absorbing felt--the rear panel has a 9 x9 Acoustic Resistance Unit built in-and the cabinet is 36 inches tall by 16 inches deep.Despite its age the speaker (for domestic reasons (the family couldnt stand the bass response)) has only seen 20 to 30 hours of use,and as such is in near mint condition.Speaker responds to a 3 volt battery..Cannot separate.
