Great sounding drivers. measuring 6.2 and 6.4 DCR on the meter.tested audibly too, great sounding drivers. Small patch of ’spider poo’ which ive mainly cleaned off on the surround of one, but apart from that they are easily the best pair of these drivers that have seen. For Sale from my father’s collection: Goodmans Triaxiom 212c Speakers. A pair of high efficiency 12” diameter triple element high fidelity drive units whose incredible detail competes with the Tannoy Dual Concentric Monitor Gold and Reds. These Triaxiom 212Cs were made in England in the early 1960s, and now very rare. In good working condition.

Goodmans Axiom 150 MK11 12” speaker. New in box, but in the garage for many years. I opened the box to make sure it wasn’t damaged, seems fine. 15W/15ohm. Made in Wembley, Middlesex, England. Shipping in California is about $20, then up to $60 for East Coast. Overseas is a bit more.

For a short period Dick Denny and Co at VOX built, to special order, a few domestic HiFi units probably in the late 60s or early 70s. These were bought new by my Father-in Law. The set comprised what can only be described as a coffin which contained a Garrard 401, SME 309 and Shure V15 cartridge plus a passive pre-amp and a pair of valve monoblocs. I assume the amps were based on the VOX AC10. The speakers were mounted on matching record cabinets and the whole thing sounded fantastic. As you can see the inside is in excellent condition. Cabinets dimensions 70x42x26cm (271/2x17x10 inches) It came into my ownership when they moved and he upgraded to a QUAD/KEF/Thorens system. The speakers still sound fantastic no buzzes or rattles I could here. The cabinets are marked but could easily be polished and made almost pristine. I only knew of one other pair and I suspect this is the only pair still existing. Ive got nowhere to put them as Ive my HiFi to a smallish room otherwise I wouldnt sell. These are collection only from North Kent near Bluewater/Dartford Crossing.

The Axiom 10 is a very high quality full range High Fidelity speaker - it produces bass, midrange and treble up to 15khz which is about the highest frequency a 30yrs+ person can hear (it reduces with age), so can be used in a cabinet on its own The magnet material was a first for Goodmans, being made of Feroba II, a highly efficient anisotropic sintered material giving a flux density of 13,500 Gauss and a total flux of 53,000 Maxwells ... Im not an expert but I believe these specs are pretty darn good! GOODMANS AXIOM 201 12 twin cone vintage speaker. This rare vintage speaker is in great all round condition, no apparent damage. Been in dry storage for many many years, I did a quick test with a 9V battery and all is good but thats as far as Ive tested it. I see no reason why it shouldnt work fully. See photos for full details of the item. Would benefit from a careful cleaning session to remove some storage dust.
