This Escient has served me well for ten years. I have replaced the power supply, and upgraded its capacitors, which were a known cause of failure and color distortions. It is otherwise in pristine condition.Included with the unit are the remote keyboard and hand-held remote. The hand held unit had the faux rubberized coating which got pretty tacky so I cleaned it off, but it works fine.Manuals are included. Ive also included a ton of literature about using the fireball PC software, (which may be obsolete), and customizing the built-in catalog. Basic cables are included, but feel free to ask for more cables; I can probably help. This unit is best for folks whose original is still in use, and has failed, or for anyone who has a dvd collection on Sony mega-changers. Escient Fireball Digital Music Manager E2-100 *Powers ON* Read. Unit turns on and has previously stored music data on screen. Screen is bright and CD door opens. Components are intact and clean. There are some light scratches to the top and a bit of paint scratched away on one side. Please see photos. During testing, the unit did power on and although I got the initial Fireball splash screen to appear on the display (see photo), it immediately went away and the red led power indicator would just blink on and off.
