Es handelt sich preisleistungsmässig um eine sehr gute Vorstufe, betonen möchte ich, dass ein DAC von AnalogDevices AD1955 eingebaut ist, damit deutlich besser als in vielen CD-Playern. Neben den analogen Eingängen gibt es einen digitalen optischen, einen coaxialen und einen USB Eingang. Zusätzlich gibt es zwei Ausgänge für Subwoofer .. Ebenfalls ein Kopfhöreranschluss. Ebenfalls kann ein Plattenspieler, MC oder MM angeschlossen werden. Nur das analoge Radio Teil kann man ziemlich vergessen, das sollte man ohnehin alles lieber über ein Netzwerk Player laufen lassen. This is an awesome piece of audio gear! The Emotiva PT-1 is a preamp, meant to connect to a power amp which would then drive a pair of speakers. Its a 2.1 configuration, which means it puts out two channels of stereo audio plus a dedicated subwoofer output. It features a USB digital input that will recognize and decode digital (S/PDIF) signals up to 24/192k from a computer or other device. Same with the digital coax and optical inputs. In addition there is a high quality bluetooth input so you can send audio from a phone, computer or other device. I have a Cambridge Audio 851a integrated amp that just didnt cut the mustard driving some dali rubicon 2s. It was tricky because the 851 makes a lovely noise but just there are some issues when its pushed. The a300 has taken the open and detailed characteristics of the 851 and just made everything bigger. There is no doubt that the dalis make and much bigger experience at both low and high volumes. My intention is to get rid of the 851a and invest in an emotiva pre amp as the money I have in the 851s power amp is now wasted. This is a great product and incredible value.tony18 Dec 2018Its better than average amps in this price range if you are looking for a warm sounding class-AB power amp with lots of bass. Construction like a tank iron case heavier than looks. Power rate is honest. But minimum output impedance is 4ohm, not suitable for your loved 3-ohm-minimun-speakers like Dynaudio, etc. sound is dynamic and powerful yeah but also has than, lets say, boring sound of poorly designed american made in china class_AB amps that make me always prefer my night to day better Hypex Ncore power amp!

I bought this baby back in May 2024 as a pinch hitter while my Rotel preamp was off for warranty repairs for what I was led to believe would be many months. A month later the Rotel came back and this Emotiva went back in its box. For the price this is a spectacular preamp. A good DAC. An FM tuner. Digital Inputs galore. Rock solid Bluetooth streaming. It doesn’t color the source, and I was exercising it with a 500W Rotel Amp driving Vandersteen 2Ci speakers. So it saw a month of usage, sat in its box for several months, and is now looking for a new home. Comes double boxed with all of the original accessories.
