Emotiva XPA-5 Gen 2 Five Channel Power Amplifier. Excellent condition. No cosmetic defects. Original packaging. Includes power cable. From AudioHolics:According to Emotiva, the Gen 2 amplifiers feature a refined differential input and short signal path Class A/B topology that Emotiva says lowers the noise floor when compared to the previous versions. The gain structure has also been reduced by 3 dB (a request by some customers). As before, both amps give you your choice of balanced or unbalanced inputs; however the Gen2 models have higher quality unbalanced input connectors and input switches. Users who are picky about the brightness of the front panel status will rejoice as the lighting as been toned down in the new models (you still have the option to completely turn off all the indicator lights). I am the original owner and have relied on this amp to power my KEF R-series front five (L/C/R/LS/RS) since purchasing from Emotiva. It has provided amplification for an Emotiva XMC-200, also for sale here on eBay, and has performed flawlessly, serving ample clean power across all channels with vanishingly low THD+N. My reason for selling it now is that I’m upgrading to a 15.4 channel processor and its matching home theater amplifier. For two channel or standard 5.1 channel home theater and music, this amp has excellent performance.

As I am downsizing my system to 2 channel, I am selling my Emotiva XPA-5 5 channel amp. It is in exc condition and has been veryreliable for powering my surround speakers. It has 200 watts per channel and really brings out the dynamics in your system. You dont know what you are missing until you have a lot of power sent to your system !. And movie watching is on another level.A great sounding amp ! This is my 4th Emotiva amp and they never disappoint. Will ship in the factory box with manual and power cord.
