A Dynatron HFC-22 vintage radiogram with blue perspex cover and teak cabinet, incorporating its original Swiss made Lenco GL75 record Player. Comes with all corresponding original factory passport, paperwork and instruction manuals This was I believe the first Dynatron to be fitted with Lencos flagship GL75 record player. The player is fitted with a new Shure M55E cartridge and new Tonar N55E stylus. The Lenco arm has new V-blocks and is set up and tracks perfectly, even under 1.5 grams. It feels feather light and simply glides. It is in fabulous unrestored condition with some light scuffs to the perspex lid and cabinet but is in well preserved condition. The LS2034 speakers look and sound fabulous. The grills are in fine condition with original Dynatron badges, a very small 1 inch tear to fabric. Although this could be easily repaired. The incorporated SRX25 tuner amp has a beautiful illuminating glass display and tunes accurately and smoothly. The amplifier is even on both left and right channels and is functioning as it should. It has a very good high quality sound. The knobs and switches are all quiet to use. It has input for tape, this can also act as an auxiliary input to play anything else through the system - such as CD/MiniDisc, MP3, laptop etc. A lead will be provided for this. The amplifier also has a standard headphones socket. The whole system looks magnificent and was designed and manufactured in 1971, in the heyday of Dynatrons manufacturing production. This HFC-22 model was made by appointment to her majesty the Queen. and bears the royal crest. Its sold complete with an original Hacker record player table. Collection preferred from a village south of Cambridge where the player will be all set up ready for the buyer to hear and see it working prior to leaving with it. Although I can arrange third party delivery via reliable private courier at buyers expense if delivery code is sent at point of purchase and payment made by bank transfer. Please message with closest town for a timescale for delivery but typically 2 to 3 weeks. Overall width with speakers approximately 105 cm as set up in photos. Cash or bank transfer on collection preferred. **Please note that the LS2034 speakers have been replaced at some point with a matching and age / model correct set for the HFC-22 ***The Goldring lenco tone arm join has been glued rigid at some point. I HAD BEEN AFTER ONE OF THESE FOR A FEW YEARS AND WHEN ONE CAME UP5 MILES AWAY FROM ME, I WAS VERY PLEASED. I PURCHASED THIS AS FULLY WORKINGOFF EBAY AND THE SELLER EVEN DELIVERED IT TO ME, HOWEVER, I TOOK HIS WORDFOR IT AND NEVER CHECKED IT ON DELIVERY.I WAS MORE THAN HAPPY TO RESTORE IT MYSELF AND ACTUALLY STARTED TO DO SO, ICLEANED UP THE HINGES, AS THE PHOTOS SHOW, REMOVED THE LIDS TO START WORKON THOSE, BUT AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS, I DECIDED TO PLUG IT IN AND TEST IT. I DISCOVERED THAT ALTHOUGH THE TURNTABLE WORKED, THERE WAS NO STYLUS FITTED,OR AT LEAST NO NEEDLE, BUT ALSO DISCOVERED THAT I COULD GET NO SOUND FROM ANYTHING, TUNER OR CASSETTE DECK. NOW AS THE PHOTO SHOWS AGAIN, THE CASSETTE DECK DOES WORK, THE V.U METERSEVEN JUMP UP AND DOWN AS YOU PLAY A CASSETTE, BUT AGAIN, NO SOUND. AFTER REMOVING THE BOTTOM FROM THE STEREO, I DISCOVERED TWO SMALL GLASS FUSESHAD GONE, SO ORDERED SOME HOPING THIS WOULD FIX THE ISSUE, BUT IT DIDNT.SO, IM ONLY GUESSING HERE, BUT I THINK THE ISSUE IS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE TUNERPART OF IT, WHICH CONTROLS EVERYTHING. THE RECORD PLAYER WORKS AND THE CASSETTEDECK WORKS, BUT NO RADIO AND/OR SOUND.IF IT HELPS AS WELL, LATER ON I DID MANAGE TO FIND A NEW STYLUS ON THE INTERNET WHICHCOST ME £40, SO IF ANYONE BUYS THIS, ILL THROW IT IN AT COST. THE PLAYER IS ON LEGS WHICH ARE CURRENTLY OFF, AS I WAS GOING TO RESTAIN THEM.THE WOODWORK NEEDS RE-FINISHING AS THE LAQUER HAS GONE ON TOP OF THE LIDS ANDTHERE ARE A FEW CHIPS HERE AND THERE.IT HAS THE ORIGINAL USER MANUAL AND SPEAKER INSTRUCTIONS, BECAUSE THIS IS AQUADRAPHONIC SYSTEM.PLEASE NOTE, THERE ARE NO SPEAKERS WITH THIS, IT IS THE MAIN UNIT ONLY. The turntable works but record appears to stick and jump, it may only require a new needle but not sure? This was purchased by my parents in the 1970s and hasnt been used probably for about 20 years, so it will need some TLC to restore it back to its original working condition. The actual cabinet is in overall very good condition. Its comes with two very large speakers Model No LS1434, one unfortunately has had its connecting plug cut, but I have the plug which Im sure can be reattached - See Pics The silver covered cover plate on the cassette recorder has come loose, again I have the part and Im sure it can be reattached. - See Pics Dimensions- Main Cabinet - W23 x H8.5 x D16 approxSpeakers - W10.75 x D9.5 x H19.5 (each speaker) This is a very rare and unusual piece and I would love someone to restore it and enjoy the quality that Dynatron were known for.
