This unit was racked in a showroom display for several years but never wired or used. I recently personally tested it thoroughly in preparation to replace a customers similar unit that was thought to be bad, but it turned out to be only a failed control cable... so this is now available. For sale is a pair of vintage Design Acoustics PS-10 Point Source Loudspeaker System. Neat cube shaped design with a downward firing subwoofer. These speakers were tested and are in good working condition with everything functioning as it should. Cosmetically they are in excellent shape and very well cared for. There are no tears in the grills or any damages to the wood grain veneer cabinets. I believe it would be difficult to find another pair of PS-10s showing less wear. Please review all the photos of these speakers for complete detail on the condition.

After inspection I noticed the cone of the woofer is stuck like halfway down and doesnt pop all the way out, so its doing its full range vibration. Also noticed the foil paper under the middle cap is ripped. Im not an expert and have no idea if these issues can be repaired or if the woofer needs to be completely replaced. They were manufactured by Thiel in Lexington, KY in the 1990s. They are FULLY functional & are in stunning vintage condition. The cabinets appear to be made from teak. There are a few scratches consistent with their age. Please see photos. Free LOCAL pickup. Local delivery is available for a fee dependent upon location. There are no tears & no cracks. There is some give when I push on the midrange, consistent with their age. One of the midranges appears to have been professionally replaced at some point in time. My clear-out continues ..... Here you see two used arm-boards, made by The Vinyl Source, for the Systemdek IIX turntable. Normally supplied with three cork spacers each, there are only four spacers included (two are already stuck together). I no longer use a Systemdek IIX, having upgraded to a Systemdek III (Transcription), so I have no use for these any more. There are enough parts here to upgrade your IIX and have a couple of spare parts left over. Having been used, by myself, there are cosmetic marks - at the mounting positions in particular. Please be aware that the arm-boards are for early Rega tonearms (RB250 / RB300) with single hole mounting. Any use to somebody ?
